Hi If you pull the gearstick gaitor up, then you will se 4 bolts that secures the gearstick/gearbox. Now removed the 4 bolts and pull the gearstick out(sometimes it can be a right pain in the arse to get out so have abit of patients with it)...When its out just turn it 180degrees i think and just slide it back into shaft>...Any probz let us know..taaa

hi i changed them steering rack bushes yesterday but i still got that noise mate also new bushes still got some play on them so i guess it should be like that..i ve to strip my front brakedown tomarrow and double check

I replace my steering rack bushes today but the still a bit of play on the new bushes if not its prob the same like how it was before. Even then new bushes was a bit soft.. Dos anyone knows if they should be any play on the rock bushes which is side to side movements??

Have you checked your bottom ball joints and steering rack bushes?

Hi Im looking to chnage my steering rock bush next weekend and was wondering how hard are they to change? Also do i need to remove the steering rock?

hi Is this a hard job to do? Had the same Knocking noise on my i200 sport check it today and find the bushes is worn. So order a full set from Lexus which works out to 49quid inlcu vat!! BUMP!!!.. Looking to knock if off my slef next weekend. any tips and hints oniy?? Cheers
