  1. hi guys i have tryed all in the Reprogramming Key Fob threads but failed my car is a may03 reg se when am on step 5 in the 2ND VERSION SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT the light continuous to flash i waited for more than 2 mins still no luck 1. Simultaneously depress and release brake and accelerator pedals 1 time. 2. Insert existing master key into ignition. 3. Within 15 seconds depress and release accelerator pedal 5 times. 4. Within 20 seconds depress and release the brake pedal 6 times and remove key. 5. Within 10 seconds insert new key into ignition. 6. Within 10 seconds depress and release the accelerator pedal 1 time. 7. After 80 seconds new key is registered and security light goes off. 8. Remove new key and depress and release brake pedal 1 time. For 2002+ Toyota, Lexus Add Duplicate Key Requires one working Toyota/Lexus Master Key. 1. Make sure all doors and windows are closed. 2. Insert Master key into the ignition cylinder. 3. Cycle the ignition cylinder from On to OFF five times. 4. Open and close the driver side door 6 times. 5. Remove the Master Key and insert the new duplicates key. 6. TURN THE IGNITION CYLINDER ON. 7. The new key will be registered after 60 seconds. The THEFT light on the dashboard will go out, indicating that programming has been completed. 2ND VERSION SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT To program the immobilizer bit of your new key: First, have your new key cut. Then: For 1998+ Toyota, Lexus Add Duplicate Key 1. Simultaneously depress and release brake and accelerator pedals 1 time. 2. Insert existing master key into ignition. 3. Within 15 seconds depress and release accelerator pedal 5 times. 4. Within 20 seconds depress and release the brake pedal 6 times and remove key. 5. Within 10 seconds insert new key into ignition. 6. Within 10 seconds depress and release the accelerator pedal 1 time. 7. After 80 seconds new key is registered and security light goes off. 8. Remove new key and depress and release brake pedal 1 time. To make your Lexus remember your key's wireless signal: For the remote part in drivers seat WITH DOOR OPEN. Start with door unlocked. 1. Put master key in ignition, turn to on, then back off and remove. 2. Using the lock/unlock button on drivers door. press lock.. then unlock 5 times.(lock,unlock,lock,unlock,lock,unlock,lock,un lock,lock,unlock) 3. Close drivers door, open drivers door. 4. Perform lock/unlock procedure again. DO NOT close and open drivers door. Just the lock/unlock procedure again. 5. Insert NEW key in to ignition and turn to on, then back off and remove.(at this point the doors should lock and unlock by themselves ONCE) 6. Now press both lock and unlock buttons on REMOTE. Release after about 1.5 seconds. 7. Now press just the lock button on remote. once you press the lock button, the car should lock and unlock ONCE, if it lock unlocked TWICE you messed up somewhere. 8. Now open and close the drivers door a couple times to close programming. if you did it right, remote will now work." wahid
  2. Hi All, Just wanted to introduce myself in this part of the section of the Lexus owners club. Just bought a Lexus IS250 SE-L with full m.o.t full service history and 61k on the clock. Very happy with the car apart from the first gear judder .

  6. Hi and thanks yeh i remember the is200 having same kind of judder i just changed the clutch on it and it was fine for about 6 years On the is250 its only when its cold or if I'm not giving it any revs Thanks
  7. Programming New Key Fob Help!

    hi mate try this first TO LOCK CAR open drivers side door and remove key from ignition switch insert key to be programmed into ignition switch then remove it Within 40 seconds 1. Press lock and unlock on the vehicle door control switch at 1 second intervals 5 times 2. Close and reopen drivers door Within 40 seconds 1. Press lock and unlock on the vehicle door control switch at 1 second intervals 5 times 2. Insert key into ignition switch 3.Switch ignition ON and OFF once to program new key code whilst retaining the original codes or twice to program a new key code whilst erasing the original codes. 4. Remove key from ignition switch. System should now lock and unlock car once or twice depending which mode has been selected Within 40 seconds 1.Simultaneously press and hold key lock and unlock buttons for a maximum of 1.5 seconds. 2.Within 3 seconds press any key button for a minimum of 1 second. System should now lock and unlock car once Note:if system locks and unlocks car twice,progranmming procedure has not been completed.Repeat programming procedure and get the car start TO PROGRAMME IMMOBILIZER Insert programmed black key into ignition switch Within 15 seconds 1. Press and release accelerator pedal 5 times Within 20 seconds 1. Press and release brake pedal 6 times 2. Remove black key Within 10 seconds Insert black key to be programmed into ignition switch Within 10 seconds Press and release accelerator pedal once. Immobilizer warning light will flash After 1 minute Immobilizer warning light will extinquish. Hi all Has anyone experienced the temperature gauge taking long to warm up I mean its not that cold here in Birmingham there's no problems with the car the heaters work fine its just that the temperature needle sits at the 3rd or 4th mark for a long time and when it does get to the middle if I put the heaters full it slowly comes down again Is this normal or am i going nuts lol Thanks guys

    Thanks for the reply mate I did ask the guy who worked on the car for the timing belt he did say the new thermostat would sort it out? it does warm up quickly and If i don't put the heaters full it would stay in the middle so I just put the heaters on auto and leave the temp set to about 22 The fans do work when it overheats Thanks

    hi thanks for the reply mate yeh did check the tyres first update did also change the caliper it has made a difference like before it was a bad pull to the left but now it just a small pull going for a geo after the new year thanks guys happy holidays

    hi mate thanks for your reply when you say abs you mean brakes? it could be geo i havent hit anything but its been about 2 years since my last geo no it doent pull right its only left is there any abs light on your dash? it could be abs sensor? thanks
