  1. I didn't see the light on no... Odd I mean it runs for a bit then koncks out...
  2. Just touching base here, I think it's the alternator but just need to check... Car lights went out then car stopped dead, got a jump start and managed to get home... car died and battery went totally flat, I thought it may be the battery so got the AA out and they said battery... changed battery and same thing happened... Is there anything else this can be ? If not I'll get a new Alternator...
  3. So after doing that I can see the two levels cold and hot, when doing above as I have done the level just touches the hot mark... Should it ideally be any higher ? there is a third mark a few inches above the hot one.

  6. OK So if it's hot you should get Evans non water coolant... I changed mine first time in 3 years a few months ago...
  7. Hi My gs300 needs a coolant flush and also the reservoir seems to have blocked so water does not get pulled into engine when there is a need for it to top up... First question… best practice for coolant renewal second uestion.. I thought the coolant was under pressure so how does the reserviuour work ? and how would it get blocked ? Thanks
  8. the engine does misfire at initial inanition until the engine warms up… then it run s smoothly...
  9. is the exhaust meant to be so hot ? mine is really very hot... but nothing else seems wrong...

Hi, How can I get my engine tuned ? seems to be doing at most 29 miles per gallon averaging about 24 miles per gallon…. also seems to be running quite hot although the water indicator is fine... also is the water meant to be pressurised ? the pipe from the water overflow tank seems to be blocked…. Thanks...
  11. I over filled the air-conditioning as the gauge seemed not to work when filling, I disconnected and checked and it's around 80 psi This is a 1995 GS 300. Air con is still working but would like to drain a bit off…. How do I get some fluid out again ? Thanks….
