  1. Well neighbour has just got a new car... a red one... think it will be obvious now if they hit mine seen as tho mine is blue But im with you on the velvet lined garage lol
  2. Thanks for that, I shall pop there tomoro and pick some up, its been recommended on the BMW forum too :D Cheers!!! LOL it had been discussed but if I had it done and neighbour was rough again chances are I may lose my temper.... think I shall try the above :D
  3. Well after getting slightly annoyed with my inconciderate neighbour who isnt at all concerned whether he bends my wing mirror back (new motor will prob be needed soon) or banging his door into the side of my car, and I mean banging I heard it in the house :tsktsk::tsktsk::tsktsk:, I've decided to give it a very good old clean/polish, in the next day or two to get as many of the marks/scratches out so any new marks will be clear to see... So my question is, there are so many brands/products out there (t-cut etc) I dont want to waste my money on the ones that dont work, so what are the best ones to use, I havent got silly money to spend but would like to get the car looking good Car has several door dings, scratches on it... tried t-cut before but didnt get some of them out. Any advice would be grately received :) Thankyou in advance
  4. You all have more interesting jobs than me... since being made redundant last year, become a full time house wife and mum to my step daughter.. Before that I was an Assistant Buyer - in charge of purchasing all IT equipment and software, photocopiers and all office stuff.. and Assisting to buy all cars/vans/lorries dumper truckes etc etc It was a fun job :D plus got to drive the company cars which was a bonus
  5. can of petrol and matches...

  6. Well my old car is at my old house, and Ive not lived there since Jan 09 and had my lex since Aug 09 so the images have got to have been done over xmas before I moved... Think we are behind the times lol the image of my old house too showed my neighbours not having a conservatory, they had that done about feb 09.. to be fair my old house is a small village, and new house is a 'new house' and all the houses around it on the map are empty
  7. Mines not on it :-( drive is empty... I got all excited then lol but my old car is at my old house so the images have got to have been done well over a year ago
  8. Thats one of the reasons I got my plate... my IS200 looks newer than what it actually is and I was getting fed up with people saying "oh you have a Y-reg car, why??' how a reg can change everything, now they just tell me how nice my lex is... plus Ive wanted my initials on a plate for as long as I can remember so I got it
  9. i've had my plate like in the pic for about a year and i've had no problems.............. as for a waste of money its all down to taste.......to be honest money doesn't intrest me,neither does spending it,i work hard for it. you cant spend it when your dead can you??(no i'm not visa'd up to my eye balls i dont have one and no i have no loans etc all i have is a morgage) i find it funny when people come on to a post and rather than say looks good but not for me they come on with whats the point ,thats crap, why wast money etc eg me and the wife got married last year cost us £16,000 why spend that i got asked whats the point you can get married for less than that(me and the wife paid for our wedding) why coz i wanted my wife to have the best day of her life and i wasn't going to cheap out.....also i'm glad i did as my dad had the time of his life and that night was the last time i saw him he passed away suddenly at 5am ie 5 hours after my wedding. bought a 170,000k house as above you dont wanna spend that on a house, why you wanting a big house buy a cheaper one etc so on and so fourth no one said good job etc i wanted the best house that i could get didnt want a run down siht hole.(i'm 29 the wifes 27) the point is if your not happy/dont like then dont post.... i wouldn't like to think how much i've spent on my car ,charger, stereo, brakes, wheels etc(see my sig)people might see it as a waste of money but i smile from ear to ear when i'm out driving the car and enjoy when people ask me about the car at shows Totally agree with you there... As long as bills get paid it doesnt bother me how much I spend on my lex or my partner spends on his countless BMW's. Its the old saying "you cant take it with you" I agree with saving money but what use is money sat in the bank when you could be living life to the full while you can!! Im un-employed at the min and my partner is self employed with little work coming in, we make sure we do something every week whether its taking step daughter out, or having a take-away... as long as bills are paid who cares
  10. I love the white, and if my OH will let me im tempted to give mine a re-spray
  11. Mine is E19 SLH and thats private so I can see where your coming from eddieblock.... ive lost count of the number of Audi's and Merc's that have BMW related reg's on...
  12. My old employers had no end of issues with Arnold Clark in General, Arnold Clark Glasgow seemed to throw up issues on services that weren't actually there!!
  13. Wouldnt advise on webuyanycar.com - they only offered me £1650 for my 2001 IS200
