  1. I've heard rumours the government is going make these detectors illegal again using a new law, has anyone else heard this
  2. I have seen a product called A Glaze and was wondering if anyone has used it and knows if it is any good - A Glaze Does it do what it says or is it all marketing bull, I hate polishing :yack: so a sealant system like this would seem ideal - if it works B)
  3. Maybe those people need to buy an IS200, once the seats in its near impossible to get it back out, it ain't going nowhere, its a pain. I also have one of those base units that fit in stay in position, which you then clip the child seat into. Nice and easy, only problem is that the scooped rear seats make the angle far to great and the babies head flops right forward in a rear facing seat. Guess I'm gonna have to get a Volvo or mondeo
  4. How do you then release the belt from the child seat, it wont retract because of the lock and so in my case I can't get the seat out without a lot of twisting (The child seat, not me )
  5. :) Thats what i am wondering, any recommendations
  6. My point is that i would still have to fix it in, the same position as i am in at the moment with mine that isn't broken, it has just come away from the leather in one area.
  7. Surely I'm not the only one to have this happen Maybe someone can recomend a good glue to fix the leather back to the cover :)
  8. Don't understand how that would help
  9. The Joke about Uncle marvo the master of repartee, conversation and backchat.....its toooooo loonnnnggggg to type out :mat: but its brill
  10. Hi all, On myIS200 the leather is coming away from the airbag cover in the side of the passenger seat. Not under warranty as car is 5 years old nearly, and am wondering what the best way to fix it is. It looks like it is just glued in place but I am unsure about how to do this as i have used superglue on leather before and it is not a good mix :yack: Can Anyone help Thanks :)
  11. What about the vvti, could that adjust the valves enough to reduce compression ?
  12. I was about to get out of mine and use the wifes car so I can see why. Like you say, there must be a valve of somekind, don't see how else it can happen.
  13. The battery was fine and it was definately engaging the flywheel cos the car moved when i tried it in gear to check this, Lexicon - you seem to be the only one who has experienced this, where did you read about the cylinder clear out theory?
  14. I can't remember if I had just moved it or not, i do remember it was a very cold night though. The engine span as though no compression, how does the coldstart thingy work?
