Me and a mate litterally had to take the engine out! The pipe on mine was on the back of the inlet manifold sandwiched against the bulkhead the stainless steel one! Got it welded and stuck it back on!! Think it got damaged when the starter motor got repaired!! Hope this helps???????????

Hi all I'm needing some dimensions for my project! Can anyone supply the dimensions for the rear mounting points on the engine so I can plan a gearbox adaptor?? I know about the tried and tested R154 but thats to expensive! I want to play with dimensions and waste time not money! I can make pretty much anything metal wise so dimensions of the rear engine to gearbox mounts would be great!!! Doing my homework before I part with cash!!!! Thanks in advance guys, Pete

Hi bud, thanks for the info! Have you still got the stainless adaptor???? LOL Transplanting 1 v8 into........................... a mitsubishi starion widebody!!!! Other is a LS400 wanting to go manual! I'm going to use throttle boddies off an R1 bike and the Eddis 8 mega jolt/squirt set up and poss some sniff or a vortex! Its along term project! The ls400 is probably going to get converted 1st! <_<

Hey Guys I'm new on here, Hi!!!! As usual a project or two in tow is me! I'm looking at using the is 200 6 speed box on the back of a ls400 V8!!!! I would like to use this box as it seems more available than the 154 box! Has anyone advice comments on this swap/combo?? I obviously need an adaptor! I'm going to call THOR RACING and see what they say!! Thanks in advance guys! Pete

Hi bud, did you fit the Supra box in the end or stuck with your standard box??? I have scanned through thread and have probably missed it! Great build!! I'm doing 2 projects at the mo! I'll be posting pics as and when! I'm looking to use IS 6 speed (straight or v6 which one) on both V8's! Does anyone do conversion kits for these?? Is this combo ok? I'm reading so much info on thesed swaps that my head is spinninng LOL!!!!! Cheers in advance, Pete
