  1. You could machine polish it to remove most of visiblility that it has.
  2. Is it the pump and not the belt slipping and so only need a new aux belt?
  3. Well the 'expert' who did it was not so. As you can get a harness for an aftermarket stereo. I would think if it cuts out its the way it wired in but its not going to be easy to sort out. I would think get a proper lexus harness for an aftermarket unit and then solder and heatsink all the cables the 'expert' cut
  4. One tip from me spend the money on snowfoam it is so useful and reduces the amount of times I have to physically wash my car. Also get some decent tar remove or some Tardis from autosmart again saves so much time remove contaminants before claying.
  5. As above when warm but anywhere between 900-1200 when you've just started it
  6. Yes you have to take the unit out and can access the bulbs easily and change for LEDS if you want for a different colour. Do a quick search for stereo removal and you'll find out how to remove
  7. The car revs higher when cold and then will drop the revs to normal due to the sensor on the engine and will rev higher still soemtimes when really cold. What code reader are you using? Is it compatable with the car?
  8. Don't bother with the plugs as the standard denso ones are what you want. K&N panel filter and decat will give a couple of ponnies
  9. I would think it will ifx it as sounds like the thread has been stripped in the bolt hole
  10. You will always get peak power before the rev limit, that the way engines are designed to give progressive delivery up to a certain peak power point then will tail of towards the top of the rev range, look at any power run curve. Not sure what gear an auto should be run in but every car me and mates have had rolling roaded have always been in 4th. This may have an affect on the power curve??!!??!
  11. Re tapping the hole sounds like the only option. or do what my mate did once and put loads of high temp thread lock on it. Proper bodge
  12. You will lose around 20-30hp at the wheels when compared to engine HP depends on equiipment used. I would say you ahve some problems with fuelling /air with power figures that low. Somethings not right
  13. Also make sure you've not got a way in for water if you;ve had the front screen replaced. Get some cat litter in socks to keep the moisture down
  14. Holey crap thats insane amount of tyres. There is something seriously wrong with your car or your driving. No way should any car get thorugh them that quick. i used to drive about 40K per year and only got through a set
  15. Need to clean out the heater matrix with a good blast from a hose
