  1. Sorry for having problems with your Lexus. I believe the batteries and the hybrid components are covered under warranty. Check with your dealer. This is copied from Lexus site :(Lexus Hybrid vehicles are provided with a five-year/60,000-mile hybrid component warranty. Any defect that is attributable to a manufacturing or assembly defect under normal use is covered by the warranty). Let us know how you get with things. Ahmed
  2. Sorry to hear that. Just take it back to the dealer (or whoever performed the service).
  3. Isn't that how I started my post? Hi Steve. I don't mean your post specifically. I am talking generally about the replies to all new IS220d owners. I totally agree that you can give advice to someone who is thinking of buying, and just to wish luck to that one who has already bought (as you did) :winky:
  4. I don't know why people keep repeating the same sentence (Keep away from the Diesel). Yes, I don't have a diesel myself, and I agree that some people were not lucky with their 220d, but still there are more out there enjoying their 220d. If someone buys himself a car (which I believe he has already been through the forum and been through most of the issues) and has made up his mind, let's wish him luck with his purchase rather than telling him that he should have got a petrol.
  5. Welcome Robert. Sorry for your car. I am quite sure you will lots of information in the forum. And as regarding the LS400, I believe it is still the best Lexus ever made. Best of luck with your search. Ahmed
  6. Welcome Lee. Best of luck with your purchase. I am quite sure you will NOT regret such decision. Waiting for the pictures. :winky: Ahmed
  7. Another difference is the wooden console in the SE-L (which few people do not like), but O believe in the 2009/2010 they managed to bring up some other options.
  8. Welcome to LOC. Nice car by the way, and hope you will enjoy it. Re what is the best tyres, I believe there are few posts in the IS250/220 section and the Wheels and tyres section that compare different brands and other owners own experiences and reviews. Shop around in the net, and you will be able to get good prices (but I am afraid you will strugle with your rear ones as they are 18/255/40, and they are only few out there, unlike the fronts). Best of luck. :) Ahmed
  9. Just google, and I believe there are lots out there, and you can even choose what you want exactly (and each has its price) :winky: But 120 quids will definitley gets you an excellent valet.
  10. Hi, I have a question dose WALD kit fit on is350 ?? I believe there is no difference between the IS250 and the IS350 in the exterior and the all the components, apart from the engine and some other related components. All the rest are identical. In other words, yes it fits. But better check with the supplier.
