ive got a second key and managed to programme that to start the car ,trying to get the remote programmed seems to be a bit more difficult ive got it were the locks cycle after number 8 but nothing am i using the correct procedure 1. Sit in the driver's seat and lock all the doors. 2. Unlock and open the driver's door. 3. Insert the key into the ignition and remove it (don't turn it...just remove it). 4. Using the MANUAL lock switch on the driver's door, lock and unlock the door 5 times. 5. Close the door. 6. Open the door. 7. Lock and unlock the driver's door 5 times but this time use the ELECTRIC lock. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position. Remove the key. The locks will now cycle by themselves. If the door locks do not cycle (lock and unlock) by themselves then the car isn’t in programming mode and you must start over. 8. On the remote, press and hold the LOCK and the UNLOCK button at the same time for no more than 2 seconds. 9. On the remote, press the LOCK button for no more than 1 second. 10. Close and open the door to end the programming procedure.

well there goin well should be ready for tyres soon .painted and 4 coats of laquer

first chance ive had to give it a proper clean this weekend since getting it pretty happy with it

no there pretty scruffy and one missing so il order some

not sure if the mk4 is same i do think its different but its a common fault worth a look and you can find the part on ebay usa

when ordering blank keys does it matter if i get the 40mm blank or do i need to undo my original and measure the full blade ive got 35mm protruding from the original

is it possible to find missing history at lexus ive some early stuff missing im assuming it would of been into lexus as it was owned by barclays bank from new untill 5 yr old and thats whats missing

im thinking of the powder coat option

well i dropped on some dhp s in poor condition heres a few pics of how there coming on first one should be ready for paint soon

well steve one week later and its snapped already not sure if its worth puttin the same one back on or look for an original .i paid £20 just for the mast with spline

well the aerial on my 400 wasnt going up when i got it i could hear the motor though so boughyt a new mast with the toothed spline .easy enough job via the instructions but mine had snapped in the aerial housing .so took out the full unit undid the cover and removed the old spline screwed it all back together then back on the car then fed the new spline down the mast and all good again 1 hour start to finish

ive found some dhp alloys they need refurbing then tyres what would be the one to go with on that wheel

throttle body needs cleaning .you can put the air con on to keep the revs up to stop it stalling

how do you remove the centre console lid the actual top armrest part i can see the 2 arms attatched but no actual way of disconnecting .the one ive got had a mobile phone fitted in the lid so im changing it
