  1. I am proud to tell u guys that my wife gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Wednesday at 4.20 pm His name is Joseph John and was 6 pound 4 oz. Both are fine and coming home today, had a few complications as he was a month early but all ok now The most amazing feeling / experience of my life Paul
  2. would look better with some tte alloys :)
  3. u could have my tte zorst for alot less than £200 (it is stainless steel)
  4. me thinks people have to remember this is people gassing on the internet, plenty of people are pricks hidden behind the safety of their pc, if they want to have a go **** em!
  5. I am afraid to say I have gone to the dark side and bought a bm 320d sport (new shape), is was voted best car in whatcar and is excellent for fuel economy. They gave me a really good trade in on the lex so it was an offer I cant refuse. Got the lex cleaned up for part-ex and it look the dogs and I am really sorry to see it go, but the fuel costs are too high. I have no doubts what so ever that I will be going back to lexus in the future as they are the best quality cars available. The parts in the 'for sale' section will be reduced to make room, i.e. the tte alloys, tte exhaust and sports grill and all round smoked emblems I wish you all all the best and thank all those who have help me in the modding will pop back from time to time Paul
  6. right o, for any other members who have had this problem this is the solution: - make sure all vacumn hoses are in place and not leaking. ensure the throttle body has not been tightened too far (this is when goin from s/c back to standard). mine had alot of carbon build up in the throttle body (and valve) so give this a good clean with a rag and also with cleaning solution, as this prevented mine closing correctly
  7. thought u wanted the technical calculations, did fluid dynamics as part of degree course can dig my old books up if required
  8. I know the smoked front fogs are about £100 each, standard should be alot cheaper, u should try matthew tyson @ lexus teeside parts department, he always does a good deal
  9. Ok the story for today - - - went to garage and checked all wiring was correct, and it was, took the car to auto electrician and connected it up to the computer, found out which abs wire was faulty but found no fault what so ever with engine (not one fault code) gettin quite desperate now as I need to change the car asap, anyone have any ideas what it could be?
  10. looking at the instructions again gordon it must be the ecu wired wrongly, i need to get hold of the socket, what type and size is it? and do halfords sell em?
