  1. You mean one like this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-Magnetic-Steel-Tax-Disc-Holder-/180920315448?pt=UK_Car_Parts_Vehicles_Automobila_ET&hash=item2a1fb0ee38#ht_500wt_922 bought the exact same one few years back.
  2. Not cheap but it does come with a brand new tyre. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-200-alloy-wheel-and-tyre-/220929507154?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Rims_Car_Wheels_ET&hash=item33706cbf52
  3. Finaly got a few from someone breaking an is on ebay..
  4. The first person I spoke to at lexus about it claimed the locking bolts werent lexus parts as he had never seen them before!? Anyway the bloke in the parts department said he gets people coming in all the time for them. A new set of locking bolts from lexus are £30 just the standard thing you see on most cars now.
  5. morning all, after my car was serviced few weeks back i noticed when i got it back that one of the metal caps that cover the locking bolts was missing. The Garage claimed they put them all on and it must have fell off???? Anyway been looking all over for them tried lexus but no luck. Does anyone here have a spare one lying around or know where i can get them from. cheers
  6. yep totally agree, personally i hate anything that has less than four wheels!!
  7. check on here gives you a pdf of everything you need to check, replace etc regarding the service. http://bahamutcars.free.fr/workshop/IS_98-05/index.html
  8. Always used to average about 24-25 mpg, but been using the snow mode recently as well as a tad more conservative driving and I managed to get it up to around 30mpg. Hopefully when its serviced next month it will improve again.
  9. I had to get it resprayed as it was in a right state so the bodyshop which did it stuck it down for me. Not sure what it was but he did say it would never come off.
  10. Sounds like a good price depending on the condition of them, the pedals (including the foot rest) usually go for 50 quid from a breakers. I paid 40 quid delivered for the kick plates.
  11. Glad you got it sorted out, just out of interest is your is black and were you driving through gateshead near low fell around midday on the bank holiday monday????
  12. Just reading the whole of your post as I only glanced at it. Dont think they would do 'touch up work'. They would only do say whole body panel respray etc. But you could always try them.
  13. Thompson and Mackay in Seaton Burn are really good. The only place in Newcastle that still uses body solder instead of bodge. Expensive but you only get what you pay for. They repaired my car after it was bumped last year and it was perfect.
  14. Dont think they are as the IS300 has VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) and the IS200 does not and the VSC is displayed on the IS300 dash when you turn the ignition on......
  15. Cheers, discovered a few posts in the forum showing the 3 bolts to attach it. Going to remove the bolts and glue it down with some Sikaflex (seems to be the preferred choice). Got to get it resprayed first however Its in my colour but has a few scuffs and deep scratches on it.
