  2. at what stage do you clay the car, is it before polishing? ;)
  3. ha. I could happily spend all day cleaning the car for a finish like that. :winky: very impressive. especially as its the same colour. I used to have a machine polisher also but no longer have it. is there one you could recommend? I cant wait
  4. thanks, the finish you have achieved on the car is with autoglym srp is it? then i need to buy some autoglym wax. im excited now as i have a bottle of srp just waiting for the lexus! some may say its sad getting excited over a clean car!
  5. what companys are national and can do it, are they quite cheap, has anyone used one they were very happy with? dont want just anyone fixing the lex. :winky: im in envy now as you have managed to get a terrific finish. mrs is due any day but as soon as baby is born i gonna be on the case for a perfect finish
  6. sorry if i sound a bit stupid. does srp stand for anything? as a kid i remember everyone using mer. is there a cost effective way of repairing sone chips? I have several on my bonnet thanks for your quick response!
  7. Just gave the lexi a quick rub down to see how would react to autoglym polish, gave it a quick wipe and I am rather impressed. Going to thoroughly polish car in the next week or so and have some more pics on it uploaded. are there any others you would consider to be better than autoglym? what are peoples thoughts on Mer?
  8. jumped out of car today and thought exactly that! it is quite loud! thanks for the reassurance! :winky:
  9. Hi sorry didnt get back to you its been a busy few days. i have tried several different variations of the reprogramming that i have managed to find, however the locks never activate to let me know that I am successful. I really dont know why they are not working. it sounds like a minor problem considering I have bought it for 1300 pounds but it is so frustrating! :duh:
  10. nice pics, ive just checked and no sign of car at previous keepers address.
  11. D6NGR - how much you give for it? Very pleasing to the eye :winky:
  12. 250bhp? sounds like a dream :winky: is it easy to squeeze that much out, what route would you need to go down? im having terrible problems with the keyfobs to :tsktsk: otherwise a brilliant car! :winky: i dont know when the belts were last changed so im just going to have it done in january. :winky: better to be safe than sorry
