  1. Cheers for the heads up on that. A google search turned up what I was looking for. Turns out the problem is actually just the plugs (I know nothing about cars), had them changed at a friends garage first thing and it's cured it
  2. Can anyone help point me in the direction of information on the TSIB relating to rattle on cold start? Concerned my car might have it and more concerned that it is a 2005 and well out of warranty I have tried the search function, but am struggling to turn any information up about it (other than the posts explainig that it exists and there is a TSIB regarding it). I bought the car at xmas and it did have FSH but the last 2 were at an independent as opposed to Lexus. I did take it to Lexus to get the aircon fixed, but I doubt my intent to use Lexus since purchasing is going to count for anything. So presuming there is no way the dealer is going to help with the cost I am looking if I should get it sorted and how much it will likely cost me. Cheers Folks
  3. Discounts At Dealers

Hi Folks, I thought I had read somewhere on this forum that there were some main dealers offering discounts on servicing/repairs etc with Gold membership. I have searched a couple of times and had a look in what I think are the likely places I would have seen such posts, but to no avail. Can anyone point me in the direction of posts of this nature or offer any further information on where I can find info about this subject. My reason for asking is I need the aircon testing and repairing (there is a leak) and thought if I could benefit from a small discount, all the better!!! Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Mack.
  4. What Do You Do?

I install synthetic sports and playground surfaces. I co-own the firm (60/40) not in my favour :(, still something is better than nothing :winky:
  5. Hi George, Many thanks for the heads up on that site. I'm going to have a look at it now. Cheers
  6. Have You Named Your Car

Mine is called 'Krull' as named by my wife and 3 year old daughter. ...our last car BMW 330d convert was called Emily, Our Saab 9-3 Beverly and the Peugeot Partner (car) Linda.....I have no idea where the naming comes from but my wife is all for it!
  7. Hi, I am more than happy to help with any part numbers whether or not you purchase from me :) and Gold members can get up to 20% off parts orders ;) All the best, Andy Andy, must have missed you on my search. Thanks for the heads up, I'll be in touch :winky:
  8. Hi Folks, I have just bought an old is 250 se auto. It has 70k up it, but fsh so it should be good for a few miles yet I hope. It is a little tatty in places and I was looking to get a couple of pieces of trim. I searched the forum already for OEM suppliers who I thought might be members but didn't find what I was looking for. Nor could I find many references to resources for identifying parts. I used to drive a BMW :ban-em: and on the forum I am a member of there was a link to this site BMW OEM and a part supplier who offered 20% discount to members. Is there an online (or offline) resource that I can find the part numbers for lexus parts and then get my own quotes or alternatively if anyone can recommend a decent supplier all the better. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help ;)
