  1. Yep I test drove one from lexus dealer in Newcastle and even though I was considering as a company car which wouldn't be sourced through them they were very helpful. Go into any other dealer mention company car and salesman run for the hills as they don't get the commission. I was very pleased with lexus and even wrote to the dealer principle
  2. Sharon, u can't tow anything with any of the Toyota/lexus hybrids. If u fit a tow bar it's just meant for cycle racks
  3. interested in knowing if anyone out there has fitted either a roof rack (bviously going to impact mpg) or an towbar for carrying bikes. I believe the dealer fit towbar and rack costs near to 1k
  4. Ok having done a couple of hj dred mile my average mpg is just over 50mpg, although I've not adopted my driving style and have also had little blasts in sports mode to see how it handles around B roads. Build quality is exceptional and I don't believe the ride is hard. It's not my Honda civic type s 2.2d and if I drove that at the spEeds I drove the CT200 would get similar mileage. I'm sure around town though it will be better. Spent a lot of miles on A19 and A1 Overall pretty happy with the car after extended test drive
  5. Company car demonstrator, and as they haven't sent the model I ordered, as it had a damaged wheel have agreed another one in July. :-). Even though I've placed my order. 45mile trip a1 and b roads 59mpg, with Some sport mode
  6. Yippee my 4 day demonstrator arrives today
  7. One of my colleagues has just asked me how i ordered a lexus CT200 as they cant find it on our company car list any longer. Having logged onto check they have now removed it from the list due to lead times, so they put it on the list on the 5th May 2011 and removed from the list on th 11th May. Think I was the only person who managed t oget an order placed for one. Now ill have a battle over who pickes up the hire car costs as my current car has to be returned on the 6th August.
  8. Hi Can anyone advise what functionality you get with an IPHONE/IPAD on a none SAT NAV model. I'd like to understand what controls you have both connected via the usb and also via bluetooth Does it display any track info on the Head unit
  9. Ordered mine on the 12th May and have been told by Toyota/Lexus UK delivery in November One concilation is Ive got one coming on Friday for a four day test drive :P which is dissapointing but not much choice, and bearing in mind the disaster I think they are doing pretty well. Hopefull as things get back to normal they may up production, I think the bigger issue is some of the smaller component manufacturers are struggling and bearing in mind all the manufacturers work on just in time ordering, suspect this is causing the bigger problems. Bearing in mind the losses all the japaneese car firms are reporting I'm sure they are making every effort.
