  1. This is a 2006 headlamp levelling unit found on the front suspension .....
  2. The dinner plate trims are very unloved but you need to keep a set back if the car ever gets classic status, the 2003/2004 star trims look much better and can be purchased from the States . the facelift alloys 2006-2009 are popular but expensive to buy (£500 a set ) yet do look the best to my mind .
  3. Few photos of the lences fitted ....
  4. Few other photo's on this eBay listing ....could well fit but with one screw recessed... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEXUS-SC-SC430-2001-2005-REAR-BACK-BUMPER-LEFT-PASSENGER-SIDE-RED-FOG-LIGHT-/282163328287?hash=item41b23eb51f:g:ANQAAOSwSlBYuSRA Happy to try a pair for you
  5. Hello Richard I took my lenses off last year to polish them up as they had faded, did take a photo and the first observation is the screw mounting holes are just below the lence face and doesn't have one deep recessed screw as on one side as in the Gen 7 items . See photo....
  6. Just loving this colour and interior combination ...
  7. All good advise above ...not Much to add..prices can be dictated by colour combination and wheel choice, factory wheels are best to my mind and the strong blue, red, silver colours with light interiors are the way to go.....only downside of the Ivory leather is its shows it's age yet all the black leather cars I've ever seen all look like brand new inside . Dark leather also mean dark headlining ...so can feel a little claustrophobic or snug , light interiors feel ariy and maybe stay a bit cooler on the legs in the summer The UK has a negative thing about high mileage cars so you could get a bargain if you go over the 100k but make sure it has Lexus service history and make sure all the big jobs have been done ....timing belt, tyres, ball joints ,shock absorbers .
  8. Car had its first claybar and wax today .....
  9. Open countryside is what I'm looking for Neil not a motorway car park
  10. Decided to upgrade to the facelift SC430 so here is my old silver car and the new one.... Its an early 2006 model so has the cheaper road tax bracket £305 not £525. colour is Montrose Blue Pearl with a Rutland Cream leather interior.
  11. If fluid has started leaking past the piston and coming out in the rubber boot it's time to take some quick action !......go for an exchange caliper as suggested by Tigerfish , my choice of company is https://brakeparts.co.uk/ I've used them before and their prices are very good
  12. Richards car from Lexus-world ..great choice and an excellent example
  13. That is a bit of a spanner in the works !
  14. Messi why not put your blue SC in for this magazine shoot ...we know the paintwork is in tiptop condition.
