  1. Happy Birthday Philboy78!

  2. Hi all, So, the 18" TSW''s are lookin rather lovely but I have a 60mm gap between arch and tyre which has to go! I've seen Coilover sets from £700 to £3000, my budget is £1500 max, if I bought the £700 set which are BC (BR Series) how much quality am I sacrificing over a set for £1500? Your thoughts and advice please gents.
  3. Hi, what do you spray the insides with?
  4. Hi everyone, I'm planning on fitting 8x18 wheels with 225/40/18 tyres, should I expect any rubbing with this size? The car hasn't been lowered yet.
  5. Thank you, you've eased my mind, do love this car though!
  6. Hi all, can anyone tell me where or how to update the SAT NAV on my is 200? I drove along the Lamberhurst by-pass on Friday which is at least five years old but my SAT NAV thought i was in a field!! Any ideas??
  7. Hello everyone! Please put my mind at rest! I just bought a 2005 is200SE, it has 46000 miles on the clock, full Lexus service history and the last full service was carried out in June 2011. When i accelerate in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and a little in 4th gear there is a fairly high pitched whine which accends in pitch and volume as the RPM increases. The noise stops as soon as I take my foot off the gas to change gear and returns as soon as start to accelerate again. The noice only happens under acceleration and not while I maintain a steady speed. I have also noticed that if I'm in 4th, 5th, or 6th at slow speed (say between 20-50mph) and I accelerate, the whine is not noticable. Is this the normal sound of a 6 cylinder engine, i've only ever owned 4 cylinder cars, or have I got transmission problems? Please help!
