  3. Hello, I am wanting to replace the complete headlight units on my 1998 MkII GS300 with aftermarket LED units. I have searched and previously found complete replacement LED units for my car in the UK on the internet but am unable to find them again - doh! I can find various replacement LED units from the USA but these are only suitable for LHD drive vehicles. Does anyone know of and can point me in the direction of replacement LED headlight units suitable for UK RHD drive vehicles? I only want the complete units, not kits to modify the exiting lights. Any help appreciated. Many Thanks
  4. Thank you for the ideas TigerFish - Unfortunately I currently don't have any tools etc available due to moving house and everything being in storage for the next few months, otherwise I would give it a go at doing everything myself. I'm currently trying to find a local company\service provider to repair the power steering hose, which is on the high pressure side.
  5. My Lexus dealer has just performed a VHC (Vehicle Health Check) on my car and recommended £5035 of repairs categorised as Red, Amber, Green. Red = High Risk\Must Do Items are the following: 1 = Replace Leaking Front Power Steering Pipe (£661.96 = 3 hours labour £414 + Part £247.96) 2 = Front Bottom Ball Joints (£341.11 = 1.5 hours labour £207 + Parts £134.11) 3 = Auxiliary Belt Replacement (£72.17 = 0.3 hours labour £46.00 + Part £26.17) The total value of the Red repairs = £1,075.24 which is very close the resale value of the car, so I really would like to find a cheaper way of having the repairs done. Is anyone able to help provide the following: Part numbers for: Front power steering pipe (This is the pipe which goes round front of the radiator and requires the removal of the front bumper to replace - Sorry this is all the information I have) Front Bottom Balls Joints Auxiliary Belt Also, can anyone recommend a Lexus authorised garage or Lexus specialist in Warwickshire around the Leamington\Warwick area that could undertake the work cheaper than the Lexus main dealer? I really would like to keep the car on the road and in good repair, but having everything done at a main dealer now is not the best value given the depreciating value of the car. I have attached a copy of the complete Vehicle Health Check showing all the recommended work and prices. Any help greatly appreciated :-) VHC_16_Jun_2015.pdf
  6. I have a 1998 Lexus GS300 which I require a replacement power steering pump for. I am reluctant to fit a second hand unit due to the unknown condition and usage, so am looking either for a reconditioned or new third party pump. Can anyone please suggest a supplier of a reconditioned or new third party part? Many Thanks
  7. Yes, Lexus were the first people I called, and they advised that these parts are no longer in stock and cannot be back ordered.
  8. Hello, I am struggling (failing!) to get some replacement parts for my 1998 Lexus GS300, and would welcome some assistance or advice from any members. The parts I require are as follows:- Drivers door seal. Front and rear mudflaps (I'm looking for some original or aftermarket ones that actually fit correctly, and are semi-ridgid, so they can be spray painted to colour match the car. I did buy some from an online retailer that were supposed to be correct and fit, but they were no good). Drivers wing mirror replacement glass. As I say, I would like all the parts to be original or as original. Finally, does anyone have any experience of fixing or replacing the inserts in the carpet which hold the floormats in place? I would like to fix/replace these if possible, but will need to purchase the replacement inserts. Any help on the above would be appreciated. Cheers
