  1. i had the evo 9 speedline corse 5 spokes in gunmetal on my is200 with 225 and in hard compression dips i would get a slight rub i now have OZ superturinis 18" with 225/40 and an offset of 40 and so far so good
  2. highly doubt discs are warped as that is an extremely rare occurence.the vibration will be caused by material transfer brought about by bad braking practice. sitting at lights with foot on brake, not weekly getting some heat into the brakes to burn of the material transfer etc. why do you think BMW advise some hard braking on a regular basis.doddering about town never getting them up to temperature is the worst thing.treat them mean to keep them clean.
  3. been using dba for years. on my evo and now on my 200. work very well with hawk hps pads on the lex. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=77983
  4. ebc green stuff are not up to the weight of the lexus200/300 red stuff are ok so so. for a step up in performance look at hawk pads. combined with dba discs stopping is in a different league
  5. sadly i think your right.the only thing i can see you get is the ability to sell parts or cars.
  6. was looking at the membership details.what is in the membership pack
  7. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/media/stevov/img073_l.jpg As a regional organiser for the MLR i took my recently aquired 167,000 mile xreg is200 along to a rolling road day.as far as i know its stock with original exhaust. Serviced by myself including a new timing belt replacing the rubber band.Pleasantly surprised but not a patch on my 450/450 evo5
  8. my car came with oz super turismos 18/8 et40 and 245 40 18 goodyear f1's. on stock suspension no rubbing
  9. contact Japspeed as they are dealers in that suspension
  10. rebleed them, nsr, osr, nsf, osf do not bleed the abs.before doing the bleed get a syringe or the like and remove all the fluid from the reservoir and fill with fresh dot 5.1 or good quality dot4 brake fluid.top up the fluid after each corner and make sure a good volume of fluid comes through each caliper. after the bleed find a clear straight stretch of road and do some hard stops from 70 down to 30 allowing some time between each one to avoid cooking the pads.this should help to rebed the brakes. coming from an evo i find the brakes on the lex to be sub par mostly due to the lack of availability of quality pads . the oem stuff doesn't take a lot of heat.
  11. just picked up an x plate at the start of the week and because of this thread checked and found the identical situation.new belt fitted an hour later. thanks to the origimal poster .your heads up has probably saved alot of people some serious grief
