  1. Ok, so I am now 100% sure it´s an aftermarket addition, by Gemel Italia. I opened everything up and looked for something that didn't look like Lexus original and I found a black small box with some odd wirings. I disconnected the wirings and front sensors went quiet. Yippie!!! Rear ones still beep as they should and the nicest part is that the sound from them only comes in rear speakers. Nice little feature! What to do with the front ones....hm....winter project....right now I want to focus on driving my wonderful car!!!
  2. No problem with the paint, but I just reckoned a lot of wax/polish in the slit. I will clean them later today and see if that could do it. That would be great!
  3. You think they are aftermarket? Installed by Lexus then? They have exactly the same color as the car, same tone as my Toyota parking assist...and does not look like aftermarket at all...
  4. Luxlink? What is it and how to install?
  5. Here comes one idea of making the throttle a little bit more responsive. Got it from Harold57 at the US lexus forum. If you want to reset the ECU without losing your seat and stereo settings, perform the following procedure: 1. Get in your car and insert key. (It doesn't matter if you close the door or not.) 2. Turn the key to the on (not start) position. 3. Press the gas pedal to the floor. 4. Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal. 5. Wait 2 minutes. 6. Remove key. 7. Done
  6. Hi everyone, I have a 2002 SC430 with parking sensors in the rear and front. The system is now beeping/barking from time to time, and sometime constantly....extremely irritating! First of all, anyone who knows where the fuses for parking sensors are placed? Second, how difficult is it to replace/loosen the sensor to start troubleshooting?
  7. Welcome to the Lexus forums Mandel73 :)
