  1. Thanks for your reply Ricky, i do i get access to the rear bottom one?Is that the one behind the pump wheel isn't it, because if it is is nearly impossible to access it. Thanks again
  2. Dear Forum Members i just tried to change the belts on my Lexus is200 2001, A/C belt, aternator belt and power steering belt. I manage to change the A/C and Alternator belts but i couldn't change the Power steering belt because i can't find the way to remove the old belt, i don't know which screw i have to loosen up, to be able to remove the old one and fit the new belt. I tried to loosen up the screw on the rear up of the pump wheel but still can't move it, and now i put all back in and the Power steering belt is even more loose making a hard job to turn the wheels when stationary. I think i explain this in the way that someone can help me in how to change this belt please. This supose to be easy but when you don't know is hard to guess help please. Thanks to all.
  3. Hi, i have the same problem but on the right front wheel and i changed the shock absorbers too no long ago and i found that is a kind of rubber in the shock absorber that is loose. If you jack the car and look up where the spring is you will see it. To stop the noise i just sprayed wd40 grease on the rubber and it was it, the noise stops because is really embarrassing but a week after it comes back. This is just a quick fix because i believe we have to take the shock absorber out and fix the rubber. Sorry for my english because i don't know the name of the parts in english but i think it's understandable.
  4. Hi, forum just to say that finally my misfire problem is sorted, it was the fuel injector in the cylinder number 1, when cold the multimeter showed "15" Ohms and when warm showed "0" Ohms, so i changed the injector and so far so good. I've never had done nothing like this but it wasn't very hard just need to be careful and patient. Happy days. Thanks to Steve for all the advice.

  6. Many thanks again, this O-rings where can i buy it here in UK apart from Lexus dealer? Thanks again for all.
  7. Hi after changing the coil packs and spark plugs, i finally found the reason of the misfire problem, is the injector number 1, i read the injectors resistance (Ohms) with a digital multimeter and all showed 18Ohms and the number 1 0Ohms, so this is the faulty one. i order a second hand one and i will post here the results soon as i change it. Wish me luck. Thanks to Steve for all the advice in this forum.
  8. Ok Thanks for the advise Steve, i order a second hand injector because a new one from Lexus was a ridiculous price(£209), and i will do the job myself, i just hope that is not to hard because i never done it before. Can i still use the same TB gasket and the fuel rail once removed how do i stop the fuel coming out and will i have any problems like air in the cooling system once i put everything back? Sorry for all this questions but i just don't want to messed up. Thanks for all.
  9. Thank you very much for your reply Steve, today i just read the resistance(ohms) of the injectors with a digital multimeter and all showed 18ohms apart from the number one that showed 0ohms so i recon i had to change it because is the cause of this my nightmare. Do i have to drain the coolant to to remove the throttle body or can i go around this in order to remove the odd injector? Thanks
  10. Just one update this. Morning the codes are p1300,P1301,P305 and P1171 . Any help please???
  11. Hi guys i have exactly the same problem misfire cylinder one but just when the engine is warm in cold runs fine for while, have change the coil packs, spark plugs and still the same code 1301 and sometimes 1171 too. It is making me crazy let me know if any luck i will let you know too if i find a solution. Another thing is do we have to drain the entire radiator fluid to remove the injectors and how hard is that to DIY. Thanks for sharing
  12. Hi, i'm new on this forum and i have a misfire problem on my Lexus is200 sport V6 2001, that is making me going crazy and desperate. When i first drive the car in the morning (cold engine) the car drives fine with no misfire problems, soon as i stop and turn it of, with the engine already warm, and turn it on back again few minutes after starts the misfire. I read the codes with a obdII and is always the code 1301 ( misfire cylinder 1) and sometimes the code 1171 as well (bank 1 sensor 1 to lean). I've changed the spark plugs, coil packs, check the air pipes and still not sorted. Please any one can help me??? Thanks in advance.
