  1. Well unfortunately I haven't found any other forums for my car. This forum is the only one that I found very useful and one that I like. This problem that I have will take some time for sure to solve and if I get it I will post it here for others.
  2. One last note the Idle control valve is now set to the lowest possible position! after cleaning it.
  3. so now I realized something else is happening. When I drive back to home from work [note:car stays +9 hours in sun] rpm drops in drive. I feel that the engine want's to die, but it doesn't. And it this when I put in park seems to be high . and this only happens (or that i've noteced) when I stop at the traffic lights
  4. hmmm maybe someone knows how this thing works or how to test it out? mine has an in from the tank side, an out to the valve then to the intake, and underneath one open to the air. :eerrrmm:
  5. Well I seached and it may be that the EVAP system isn't working good here http://www.aa1car.com/library/evap_system.htm I'll check this on my car and report my finding. Hopefully I get this sorted. :( edit: that system seems to work fine I think
  6. Yeh sounds like an alternator fault , yo can check it's fuse first in the engine bay. ALT hmmm must be a 100A
  7. Hey that's just the info I need! Thanx for it peeps . going to see if I can find those in the local stores here.
  8. Hi there, So to begin with since my 1G-FE engine was revised, it's not running smooth as it should be. I feel that it's running rich, cos it's uses more fuel then before. When idling feels like engine is a bite shaky. And when driving as if all is well. of 10L fuel I go 80 km and sometimes 60 km, what was a bit more then 100 km before. In the weekend I already cleaned the throttle body, but it's the same.(I found out that the Idle control valve had a vacuum leak, which I sorted out) Last I have no Engine light lighting up. So if someone can help me out where I can begin next for looking then it would do.[ maybe Steve?] Ricky
  9. sounds like a malfunctioning OCV [oil control valve] how's the car driving when not stopping ?
  10. Hmmm then what is the exact plugs for the 1G-FE Beams engine?
  11. If the car drives good it will be the clocks or some cable being loose. Although you could do a diagnose on your car to be sure.
  12. cos you have to loosen the other screw on the bottom also, then the pump should move.
  13. looks like the clocks are defective, need to change the whole gauge cluster.
