EGR tube is an emission pipe that runs from the back top of the engine down to the exhust pipe. They have a tendency to leak. 90 LS400 Since 1995 Has 203000. miles on it.

Anyone have any experience with the replacement of the EGR tube. Mine is leaking. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM ON MINE. yOU CAN E-MAIL JIMLWALKER@SBCGLOBAL.NET H e has had some made up forfor $150. or send yours to him for $200. He will send you instructions to take it out. I did and it was real easy. Lots cheaper than from Lexus. This is a common problem for Lexus. Good luck.
