  1. Thanks Neil, next step in car ownership, well an ISF has always been a dream and something I’ve been working towards so if the right one popped up I’d definitely be swayed. Ive a thing for USB and white leather, but it’s not a necessity, if a late well looked after example came on the market I’d certainly have a good look at it.
  2. Thanks Neil, ultimately it depends if the right car pops up for sale to replace the 250. But while I’m in possession of this I shall continue to enjoy it and add a few more mods. wheels could well be on the list along with sorting out the DRL’s to illuminate upon approach and unlocking as the puddle lights do.
  3. Thanks very much. the suspension is completely adjustable in terms of height and damping. from inside the car you have full control of ride height and it will rise on start to a preset drive height. Id say once set up its almost as comfortable as standard and certainly matches the H&R springs I had in there before.
  4. Few more recent pics, whilst I continue to use and enjoy the car I may also be in a position and in the market for an ISF. So until the right one pops up I’ll be keeping the 250
  5. Morning all, been a member for a good few years but cannot remember if I ever set up a ‘build thread’ originally had an is200 that I then traded in against this 250 back in 2014 ish the car is a 2006 matador Red se-l once I’d bought the car I was on the hunt for some isf wheels, and dropped on H&R springs to take away some of that arch gap. I’ve then since swapped for air suspension from airmext, accuair management and hidden tanks in the spare wheel well. spaced the rear ISF wheels 20mm. bodywork wise I’ve smoothed the front bumper to remove the holes from the number plate holder, added GFX lips front and rear. Rear boot lip, roof spoiler, genuine 2011 headlights retrofitted with working DRL, ISF rear lights and Lexus Japan HID fog lights with DRL. Honda S2000 AP1 exhaust tips fill the holes in the gfx lip, coupled up with an invidia midpipe for a little more grumble.
  6. Personally I like the colour coded grill, just fitted mine and had the bumper smoothed and a lip fitted
  7. Yeah like you say there is a limited market for these, lovely looking wheels though surprised more people don't consider running them on other cars. Took a punt on the damaged eBay wheel for £90 so will see what that's like when it turns up later this week. If you do consider selling your two spares seperatly all I'm after now is the front right to make a full set. Dan
  8. Ah ok that's not a bad price, think I paid a little over the odds for the two I've got. Ive spotted that one yeah but can't get in contact with the seller, I was a little concerned about the kurbing and possible cracks. Although It's an option I was considering taking a chance on
  9. 😂 been on the hunt for a full set for a while but they come up few and far between. Looking to piece a set together to run on my is250. Out of interest what would the right price be? Thanks
  10. Sorry to dig up an old topic, don't suppose these are still available? And would you sell the front wheel separate? Ive just picked up 2 rear wheels so I'm looking for fronts to make a full set :) thanks
  11. Still on the hunt for a set of isf wheels
  12. Hi guys, unfortunately I'm not able to make the meet, been a target of card fraud so have that to deal with today. Hope you all have a good day and manage to take some photos, weathers looking promising
  13. from northamptonshire myself, and have used lexus birmingham for genuine parts who i found to be very helpful and gave me a very good price on the things i needed. i do all the servicing and repairs myself so cant comment on that side of things
  14. has anyone used lexuspartsnow.com recently and had a good or bad experience? ive noticed they have genuine parts in stock at a very discounted price, too good to be true?
  15. Hi I'm on the search for a full set of isf wheels, good condition genuine ones with tyres preferred but would consider other options. Thanks Dan
  16. I'm not a new member as such but haven't really posted much, used the forum for the wealth of information available 👍🏻 I wouldn't mind popping along to a meet if you'll have me :) based in Northamptonshire and don't mind taking a drive so location isn't a problem Dan
  17. Yep thats correct, its the SE-L. The 200 went through mot no problem and was a great car for the price. Im interested in fitting a few extra's to the 250 if anyone can point me in the right direction of suppliers or topics on here. I want to fit a rear boot spoiler (the ducktail type) and im also interested in the front & rear lips for the bumpers. are they aftermarket or were they a lexus option?
  18. Hi guys, just an update with the car. Kept the is200 up untill 2 weeks ago when i decided to part ex it for something a little newer. Last pic of The is200 Ended up coming home with an '06 is250 :) to say im happy with it is an understatement such a comfy car to drive. I'm the third owner of this car and it comes with full Lexus service history, on 89k
  19. well its been a while since i was last on here, been busy with work and re-building the corsa. its been a trouble free year with the Lexus, such a great car. although im now in 2 minds as to what to do with it .. spend a bit of money on it or carry on saving in the hope i can pick up a newer IS250 .. hmmm :)
  20. quick update: Had a delivery this morning, picked up a new lexus sport grille from lexus birmingham brand new and painted should get this fitted today and get a few photo's of the car overall
  21. thanks for the link, ive ordered one :) Completely agree that it changes the look of the front end, looks so much more upto date
  22. Car looks like its coming on well :) have you got a link to the sport grille on ebay?
  23. Hello, im looking for a few parts to freshen up the look of my is200. I'm looking for the following parts: -front lip -side skirts -roof spoiler (top of rear window) -sport grill -head lights, black or projector
  24. Thanks you two :) yep i really liked the look of the LED ones but didnt fancy paying out for them so tried tinting the standards. I quite like the reverse and indicators clear, not sure if i'd like them smoked. thats a good shout Petay, i'll have a look at changing the indicator bulb yeah spoiler was already on the car, im unsure as to it being a standard or aftermarket one? i'd fancy getting the 'roof spoiler' too that goes on the top edge of the rear window
  25. Thanks Petay, was a very nice trip :) ah that sounds lush! hopefully that time of year you'll have the weather on your side too. yup, will be using the Lex as a daily runner, where as the corsa is now primarily a show/track car. just a quick update on the lexus, not sure how this will go down with you guys, but im not a massive fan of lexus lights .. even on a lexus  but had seen a few of the sxe10 crew cars and altezza's with either smoked, LED or red tail lights .. which got me thinking i had some paint left over from tinting the lights on the corsa Take a set of standard lights scotch, mask and paint them Lacquer and leave to cure and fitted, looks much better imo
