  1. It's pretty pants compared to most diesels. You get alot more from BMW or audi
  2. I know the sport has a different rear diff but shorely it shouldn't make that much a difference
  3. It's had its head gasket done and a new Egr valve fitted. I would say on average I get 33mpg. It does got up to 35-36mpg when I pick my daughter up which is 45 mins away but that's still pants for a modern diesel
  4. What do people generally get? I'm looking to hear especially from sport owners as I generally get between 30-35 mpg which for a diesel is dire. I do 45 miles a day and 35 of them are dual carriageway cruising at 75mpg. It's had a full service in the last 3 miles including the fuel filter and I do use red ex about once a month
  5. What is220d do people have as I have the sport version and when I see people saying they 45+ mpg I honestly believe you're talking pony. I get on average 32-35 mpg sometimes 30mpg . The fuel consumption on these cars is terrible
  6. Anyone heard from lexus yet over the recall for a fuel pipe. All is220d and is 250 from 05-10
  7. What material are the seats in the 220d as I want to clean my seats. These are not the leather ones
  8. What cleaning products are out there to clean the seats. I don't have leather but can't work out what the material is
  9. After the way lexus treated me they can take a running jump.
  10. You are best off getting a warranty cover from one of the major companies. Lexus reliability does not apply to this model
  11. So I know you can't remap the ecu but has anyone fitted a plug in a play chip, if so was it worth the money. I have the sport version and my mpg is appalling anyway. Average around 32-34 mpg
  12. Lexus will use and say anything not to do it. I badgered Cambridge non stop but they didn't give a f*ck as I had 1 stamp missing. Even though it was from previous owners and I only had the car 6 weeks. 07 plate. Luckily I had rac warranty and was done by them. I met all their criteria but they don't want to pay out. I wished I never got my lexus. Egr valve went 6 weeks later. Sorted again by rac.
