  1. Thank you Mate, We are going for 5 seater, it must be enough, the children factory is closing after this one for sure. 😅 I am glad that I got JAP car, as, since long time, in my family always were JAP cars as big ones. Only problem for me it, that it has BMW 1.6 diesel which is from MINI Cooper. But I guess Toyota made it even better and more reliable that BMW. I have test drive it, and it lacks power in compare to 130kw in IS, but still can feel it pulling away nice for a family car.
  2. Hello guys, It has come time to part with my Lexus IS220D F-Sport edition, I have owned it for 6 years, and enjoy every minute spent in it. The only reason for selling it,is the point that 3rd child is on the way, and there wont be enough space for all 3 kids in back row. But, what makes me happy, I will somehow still stay in relative family, as I have find very good Toyota Verso fron 2016 with 56000km on the clock with still remainign 2 years warrenty. The car is not so powerfull and eyecatching, but it is very good price for what I'm getting and it has enough space for everyone and everything. If anyone on here has Toyota Verso 1.6 Diesel, from 2016, you can post your oppinions and what to look for in it, what are the problems, where are some hidden tricks. Thank you all guys for having me and help me solve some general problems and questions tha have arisen during this 6 years of ownership. Maybe, in some further future, we will meet again.
  3. Hello all my Lexus friends and owners, I am thinking about selling my IS220d F-sport 2013 model with 73000km on the clock. It would be good if you could tell me the price range which i could expect for it. I bought it new an it was never crashed, only thing is the paint that is chipped on some parts from other doors. I only have good words and good time spent with it, only thing why I am thinking about selling it is low on space for 2 kids and 3rd on the way. If you could suggest some mid size car which would be good for fitting 2 baby seats and one booster in back row. I am thinking about buying it new in the price range from 25 - 30K Euros? Any help would be appriciated, especially from those who have 3 small kids with child seats. best regards
  4. I would say some 1s and 0s got mixed. this happened to me long time ago, but the problem was the car was locked and i needed to get in. luckily I was at home and try to change battery, but still didnt work, so I opened it manually with the key and the alarm started screaming. After I entered the car, placed key near ignition button alarm stopped and car started normally. Tried to lock and unlock it few more times afterwords and everything was working fine. After that when I went for regular service they said there is no error reporting, just probably some binary code mixed.
  5. I have my on IS220D and you can just heare them above 100KPH and if the radio if off. Anyways, I am very pleased with it, and also, the fuel average din´t raise a lot. So, yes I think it is a good option, as the trunk on IS is so smoll and limited due to big part falling off for the wheel arch. Hope this helps
  6. One of my friend had a problem with what we call Micro-belt - belt thet connects aircondition compressor and car distribution. He had a lot of prblems because compressor jamed. Best regards
  7. One more thing you could check, is the coolent level. It can happen that it is to low and there is no enought water level to heat.
  8. Hello guys, I have a question regarding manual shifter in IS220D, the thing is that in 2nd gear (sometimes 4th also) when you are driving on Low revs you can hear plastic rattle coming from the shifter itselfe. I still didnt remove the leather cover from it to see if there is something visible to the eye, and didnt contact the service station because it is not affecting on any of performance, it is only annoying for now. I dont know should I go to the service as it still has the warranty, or is there any other solution to this. Hope to get some answers on this before I start to take action Best regards
  9. Hey, I wouldnt play to much with that, Few days ago my friend in Ford mondeo had almost same issue, the compressor stoped working (mechanicly blocked) and after that the car started to smoke in the cabin. The reason was that Microbelt (we call it like thet) which is rotating the compressor was rotating and the compressr wasnt moving and it fell of... So I think you should go check that as soon as possible, because if something happens, it is not drivable... Last thing, the compressor is around 900 punds in Croatia... Not cheep for us.
  10. Tnx Johnatg, It helps in a way of checking my voltage and current, but I can not find exect voltage it should be filling the battery. But now i got something, called toyota dealer and they said optimal voltage would be 14,05V. So my is lower than this... and need to check if they will replace it
  11. Hey guys, I have slight problem, as i was changing the Battery for my Lexus IS220d (2012) the electrician told me that my alternator is not probably working good, and it is filling the battery lower than it should. So my question is, do you have some reliable informations regarding the Voltage and Amps that the good alternator on this model should give. As I still have the varenty I would like to replace it, but I need to know the exact voltage and Amps, becouse our service in Croacia is always looking to save money for them... Hopefully you will have some good infos. best regards
  12. Well, I had this problem on my very OLD car, but I think it is the same priniciple of starting Diesel motors. I am not sure how to say it in english, but it think it is the sensor that monitors the temperature in Cylindrs and activates the heater. But I may be mistaking... Not totaly sure. Hope this helps you
  13. I think also, only when you fill it up, it can be reseted automaticly
  14. I would also stay on Lexus recommendation, As when you have low pressure your tire sides will be suffering more.
  15. Hey Carl, Depending if the car is cold or warm, it moves from 800-1200 if the AC is on.
