    the IS is very good in the dry just not as good as the skyline in the wet. had a few s bodys aswell and bmws so not a new commer to rwd

    i know the ins and outs of what mapping does and what can be gained/lost from it as it is apart of my job what i was trying to ascertain was wether or not the factory ecu could be mapped. it seems not . would love the force feed the IS but 2k is out of my price range .

    nope mate 409 bhp and 489 ftlbs @ rear wheel been in rear wheel drives for many years bud.

    i have sticky rubber on mine great in the dry just dont have any feel from the arse end of the car in the wet. my r33 was well over the 400 gee gees mark and that thing you use to know what was going on what ever the weather.

    to be quite honest the back of my is200 feels almost unatached in the wet compaired with previous cars i have owned.

    so these so called remapped cars are talking bull then . we dyno and map cars on a daily basis and a few of our mappers have said it not a case of it carnt be done but the case of keeping it done .

    whats the score with getting an is200 mapped as i have seen some for sale that state they have been remapped but as far as im aweare these things run on a kind of fuzzy logic were they self learn so end up dropping the new map out of the system.

    what was the cost of a new loaded is200 sport back in 2002

    my 200 sport some what under powered to what im use to but its a nice drive and turns heads . better now the nasty power flow exhaust is gone and a greddy one is in its place nice tone with out killing the ear drums.
