  1. Ace Mesh 7 are monoblock Stu. :) Have a look on their website. The alloys themselves are around £1,600, but that's for the US. Wondering if I could bring them back on the plane! ;) Do two parcels of two alloys! Lol. Don't mind paying a weight penalty! ;)
  2. There listed on US eBay Roheel. You'd pay shipping and import tax etc, but that's one option. I've got a buddy to buy it from there (it's listed by Lexus California, so safe seller!), and bring it over with my other stuff. I'm going to Arizona in March, if you wanted me to bring one back for you? Could get a buddy to buy it, and you give me the cash? Whatever you prefer mate. :)
  3. ;) It's not carbon wrap to be fair (genuine carbon fibre as opposed to wrap), and I have a few other possibilities lined up! ;) Mentioned the KW coilovers before, and may consider some different alloys (probably be the only ISF in the UK without the BBS's!) at some point. Liking the Ace Mesh-7's if you have seen them? Will post a picture in a minute. ;)
  4. Neither do I at the moment! ;) Lol. Hoping to get this done as the next phase after the exhaust. :)
  5. Same as this (not fitted to an ISF in this photo, but it's the same as IS250/350 etc). Will be better once I re-do my centre console etc with real carbon. Cheap mod at $70! ;)
  6. Agreed. :) The darker engine cover also looks better IMO. Will be getting mine done soon hopefully! ;) Have you seen the F Sport gear shifter Stu? Got one coming with my Takeda and Apexi throttle controller! :)
  7. Is it the Steve Meade Designs video? You can't seem to paste links into posts on this forum? I have to type them by hand! :(
  8. Thanks Stu. :) Can you post a link to the YouTube video for me? Cheers.
  9. It's a lot more expensive if you need to go from the manifolds back I imagine. I'm thinking of doing the PPE headers at some point, and the fitting guide reckons it's an 8hr job for a skilled mechanic! ;) If you add that to the bill, plus additional fabrication, it would easily double up the bill I reckon! Did I mention Stu that my Takeda is black as well? Decided like you that having shiny bits was too much effort to keep clean! Lol. ;) Should have mine next Tuesday! :) :) :) Does look better than the polished one in my opinion. ;) Was it relatively straightforward to fit??
  10. Wow!! ;) Awesome...... Really isn't much else to say Stu! :) Very impressed with the clips you did. I'd probably like a short passenger ride at some point to get the true affect (video isn't as good as hearing things for real). What were you laughing at at the beginning of the exhaust and intake drive in vid? ;) May just be how it is now you have the perfect soundtrack! ;) Well done fella. Hopefully won't be too far behind you! :) Cheers. Pete
  11. Guessing we won't hear from Stu till tonight! ;) Probably out enjoying the new exhaust! Lol. Will need to stop sometime to fit his intake though!! ;) Hope he's pleased with it.
  12. You must be mega excited Stu! ;) Doubt you'll sleep much tonight mate! Lol. Look forward to seeing some pics, and a sound clip or two. Hope you're pleased with it. Cheers. Pete :)
  13. At least your beater is still a Japanese car! ;) Lol. Summer meet would work I reckon. We need a nice pub somewhere that could do a BBQ or something? That way it becomes more of a family atmosphere, and everyone has a good time. R32 GTST track toy, nice! :) Do you just do trackdays with it, or are you doing a series? Did some team support for both Time Attack and EDC, and Eurosaloons. Miss those days! :(
  14. It's Dartford area Neil. Close to Queen Elizabeth II bridge and Gravesend. Quite a trek for you with all the stuff you're juggling as well! ;) What Skyline are you rebuilding?
  15. Glad to hear it all got sorted for you fella. :) Always a worry whether something will be covered under a warranty. Hopefully you won't have too many other things go wrong with it (seems they are pretty well built compared to a lot of other cars out there). :)
  16. Fair play Neil. :) Maybe you should come along to the Bluewater meet? Gives you a chance to see a few cars for comparison purposes? Just a thought. Let us know if you find any others mate. Peter
  17. If you appreciate one performance part alone will not make a lot of difference to the overall performance of your car, but by addressing the intake and exhaust side, you should see a healthy increase in performance most of the time. I'm going with the Takeda on the intake side, and probably a set of PPE headers along with a custom stainless exhaust. The whole lot should add 40/50HP, but more importantly to me will improve things across the full rev range, and improve the sound. It's not like we need huge HP gains when we have over 400HP as standard! ;) It's torque and getting a smoother curve that I am looking for. Making the power the car has more accessible. You normally find a mixed response on forums about any intake system. Loads of them suggest it's more responsive, faster, etc. Loads of them are honest and say they can't feel much difference over OEM, but it sounds a lot better. Unless you are talking about a turbo-charged car like the Supra for example, you won't get much extra power from add-on's that cost a couple of hundred quid! ;)
  18. I think a separate ISF OC meet could be good at some point? Maybe do something at Bluewater or somewhere else that would get the best turnout? Bluewater works quite well, as if you do have the wife or kids with you, they can go off and do stuff whilst we all admire/talk shop about our pride and joys! ;) Might also mean we could avoid weekends, and go for say a Friday night? Just a thought. :)
  19. Pretty much all aftermarket manufacturers suggest bigger gains than you actually get. I'm a much bigger fan of the companies that underplay the gains, so you actually get more than you expected (doesn't happen often I know!). I'm guessing they don't offer a guaranteed gain of 15HP for example, because the consumer would then be able to send it back and demand a full refund. They 'suggest' it could gain as much as 15HP, knowing full well it's nearer to 5HP at best! If you use a generous dyno (plenty out there!), tweak the base settings to be as generous as possible, push the car past the safety point most good dyno operators use, you could theoretically get that much additional HP. Every car has some level of variance as well remember. Recall a lot of cheesed off GTR buyers who got less power than others. Some came out with as much as 40/50HP more than others, despite basically being the same car! :( Is annoying though! :(
  20. Works for me mate. :) I'll try and pop along regardless (even if it's only for a little while). :)
  21. Hey Stu, 9th would be better for me. Have the kids every other weekend, so the 9th is a non-kid one. ;) I'll be taking my son home on the 16th, but could do the 1st as well depending on what time you were thinking of meeting up?? Thanks. Peter :)
  22. Looking good Keith. :) Nice setting! Didn't think we had anywhere in the UK that looked like that at the moment! Lol.
