  1. Hello everybody. I collected my second is300h f-sport in july of this year and from previously owning one my only problem with the exterior of the vehicle is that the tailpipes were hidden behind the stock diffuser. Before I collected the car I did a bit of research into what it could be replaced with and decided to go with a full carbon diffuser from seibon. It was shipped from america and I timed it so the main dealers could fit it before I collected it. After I took delivery of the vehicle i took it to a vehcile modifying garage in my local city and replaced the exhaust tips. the originals were cut off just short of the back box and the new ones fully welded back on. I didn't want any preformance upgrade or a change in noise. I jut wanted the rear of the car to look a bit meaner. Let me know what everyone thinks and don't hold back. I know it's not for everyone
  2. The pricing was exactly my next question but someone got there before me. Thanks! I'm in Ireland so I wonder would I have to pay extra taxes on it. Plus the diffuser looks like it needs to be painted as well which is an extra cost. Just wanted to ask as well, when u say kit what is need because it looks like da pipe are only a front for the originals behind. Does it effect the performance and noise from the car. thanks again, kieran
  3. Thanks very much for the replys everyone, edward I am aware of the TRD parts but I'm just not a fan of that rear bumper style.
  4. I was the very happy owner of a 2014 f sport is300h until before Christmas when some decided to drive into the side of my car. Every cloud has a sliver lining as they say and after a short consideration I decided to order a new f sport just before Christmas and I am currently awaiting delivery in mid April. I went with a white f sport with a few minimal extras. I was very happy with my previous car so I did not have to look too far for its replacement. The only draw back I have with the is300h in the looks department is the fact that the model for sale here in Ireland has the exhaust pipes covered behind the rear bumper. What I am trying to figure out is if anyone has tried to replace the black moulding on the bottom of the rearbumper and replace it with a diffuser and new exhaust pipes. I would love to see some pictures and where the parts were sourced if possible. Also wondering if it was a big job or a diy?? I know not everyone is going to be a lover of this topic, and each to their own, but I got some great help on this site prior to my first purchase and I regularly follow this forum for tips. Thanks, Kieran.
  5. I did take awhile for my mileage to settle down but it does come down. I actually work in macroom and have to travel secondary road every day, on these roads I'm getting about 43ml/gl. I drive da car in Eco mode for "everyday" driving and honestly settling into main road driving it does go up to close to 47/49 ml/gl pretty easily. Through work I got to know a few of the sales men and like you they gave me an s design for a day, within 10 miles I was sold. Wouldn't have a bad word to say about them, I was even told that they will still sell lexus to there customers. It may be comin from cork but at least I can deal straight with macroom in the future. Kieran
  6. On my way to work which is pretty bad road I get about 6.4/6.5. I was actually in midleton yesterday and I got very close to 6 or just under. Sorry but when it comes to consumption I still work in mI/gal but I have got it down to 5.7. Using ev in the towns helps with that. You do find yourself trying to get the comsumption down. On the other hand it is pretty easy for to drive it like you stole it with plenty of acceleration in sport mode. When it comes to da rarity of my car. I havnt seen any of the f-sport and only 5 or 6 other is300h's, mostly in cork City. Did u buy your in Douglas. How did you find them. I bought mine in macroom when lexus were based there and found them to be top class even though I had to wait for delivery of the car for 10 weeks.
  7. Hey kaz, I live in west cork (glandore). I bought an f-sport is300h, in the f-sport white, last year. Took delivery in April and I currently have 26000km done and still love the car. Hope you enjoy the car, Kieran
  8. I had the same problem over here in ireland, no fog lights on my car. I'm taking delivery of my f-sport in 5 days and I was told that the bumper is completely different on the f-sport ( as opposed to the s-design) due to the cooling vents either side of the grill on the f-sport. I have considered retro fitting the fogs once I get the car but I'm not sure I can get the surrounds for the lights. Flytldr - where do u plan to retro fit the switch afterwards
  9. F- sport pearlesent white with the standard black interior....... But I might be a bit biased
  10. Bridgy - can u post some more pics of your boot spoiler. I am very interested in adding this to my car but I can find too many pictures of it. I have a pearl white f-sport in the "post". Due the first week of April . Thanks Kieran
  11. I have been waiting for my f sport for 4 weeks now and only another 10 to go!!!! I sold my a4 s line 2 days ago and my garage are to sort me with a car at the start of next week. As it's a toyota garage also I bet it will b a yaris or something. I can't wait 10 weeks!
  12. Johnm112, While where I'm buying the car is the main lexus dealer in my area they didn't have a car in stock at the time with the ML. I think my mind is made up to be honest. Everyone is telling me that the standard sound system is more than adequate. I do on average 15000 miles a year so I save the 2400 pounds and it will easily run the car for the first year and a half
  13. I would love just the sound system, don't really want the Nav. It's after getting a lot of bad reviews here. I also forgot to ,emotion that in ireland fog lights are an optional extra. I think I'm gonna try and save the money and spend it on something else. It's a beautiful car in standard f-sport format. I test drove the s-design for 2 days and loved it so I hope the f sport will be as pet up again
  14. I have just order a 2014 is300h f-sport in the f-sport white but I still have the option of adding the audio upgrade prior to delivery of the car. Lead time 16 week! I live in the Republic of Ireland and here the upgraded speakers, sat nav and DVD player come in one extra package at a cost of 2900 or 2400 pounds. I've been reading there are problems with the nav and I'm now wondering spending the extra money in the first place?
