Hello. I need to change the 12v vehicle battery on my 2000 Lexus IS200. Is it simply disconnect and fit new? Or do I have to find some way of saving the key and radio code? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello Everyone. I've just joined the LOC. I joined for a few reasons: one is that my IS 200 is the nicest car I've ever owned. I've owned it for the past 5 years. When I change it, I hope to get an IS 200 Sport Cross. The other reason is that I'm fed up with feeding the car with front tyres due to wear just on the inside of the tread. Hopefully I may get some info on that. I've always bought Japanese and I'm currently restoring an AE86 Toyota Corolla GT. Unfortunately due to cut backs in work that's on hold. That's also the reason why I haven't yet bought a Sport Cross. My wife drives a Toyota Corolla.
