  1. Yes I think you will need the dealer to sort it on the IS250 but at least you can sort it
  2. Thanks Jay, I do my best to look after it! I hate sitting in an unclean interior - probably being a little OCD
  3. Need to have a look at this on my nav screen. Pretty sure I haven't seen it. Unless it's only available on the facelift?
  4. I would guess your sensors are switched off then. Let me know if you get them switched on OK... Mine doesn't lock/unlock at all on its own - I have to do it via the button if I want to do that. If I recall correctly though, according to the manual you can have the dealer program this for you to your personal preference so I'd have thought the last owner had that done in your case.
  5. I have the camera and parking sensors and can confirm the sensors beep while the camera is on. You can turn parking sensors on/off using these buttons to access a menu in the instrument cluster: If your parking sensors are on you should see this icon displayed all the time:
  6. You'll need to check on Lexus Reading but some dealers also offer Gold members a discount on service plans too which could work out even cheaper!
  7. His is a premier so it may be that only the premier has the auto option in that case On my IS250 I can press the folding button and press it again once the car is off. That way they open automatically when I turn the car back on.
  8. In the top right corner near where "latest posts" used to be
  9. My Dad's CT has a button here which does just that:
  10. I think if you press unread content it shows you anything that's new since last time you were on. Basically a new version of the "latest posts" function. This is IPB4 and it used to be on IPB3. It has a lot of new features and security updates etc plus the mobile site is MUCH better.
  11. Agreed, interesting to see what the extra price will bring although we don't know the price yet? Perhaps LS levels of luxury in the interior? Can definitely see some LFA inspiration in the side profile though don't you think?
  12. Hi Sam, PM Steve (admin) and he should be able to take care of it for you :)
  13. Love the look of this personally and has the 5.0 V8 from the RC F... no mention on price yet though!
  14. Yes low to mid 20's town driving. Motorway you can easily see 35+ and I've even had 42 on really long drives.
  15. Executive has 6 speakers with an empty parcel shelf housing. The premium nav gets 8 speakers although I can't remember whether it's a Panasonic or pioneer sound system. Id say it's more likely to be pioneer Must have been the 6 speaker set up I was thinking of then - phew, thought I was going mad!
  16. Hang on am I getting confused here? Is the 8 speaker one the standard option in the 3rd gen IS or is there a Pioneer one too? I'm sure I had a look at a friend's executive edition and I couldn't find a sub?
  17. I think if I'm not mistaken the 11 speaker system in the 2nd gen IS is still widely regarded as a very good system, whereas there is a bigger difference between the ML system in the 3rd gen and the 8 speaker system everyone is mentioning which doesn't even have a sub?
  18. Have any of you seen the new Michelin Cross Climate? They're better than "normal" all seasons to use all year round and are actually pretty good in the snow. Sadly not many sizes are covered for bigger Lexus wheels yet but I think they are bringing out more sizes early next year.
  19. The Sat Nav unit is very expensive and won't be just a plug and play so if you want one with sat nav you will need to find one that already has it
  20. Interestingly I've seen a non premium nav car (executive trim) which has the 6 speaker set up but that still has a grill on the parcel shelf. I'm assuming this has nothing in it?
  21. Does the 8 speaker "premium nav" set up have a sub as I believe the "standard" 6 speaker set up does not?
  22. When/where did you get the chance to drive it? Drove it in Austria last Saturday. Nice how did you manage that?
