  1. Yes I must say I'm a big fan of the dark rose colour seats they seem to be offering on a lot of the models these days. Looks especially good with a white car :)
  2. Drove over to Lexus Hedge End today as they had the new 2016 Lexus RX in the showroom for one day only. Got to have a nice long poke around the car and took some photos and a video for you all to see :) I was very impressed with the car. The looks have definitely grown on me and it will be interesting to see how the car looks when the front grille is broken up by the UK number plate. Cabin quality seemed very good and the car definitely appears more spacious inside than the old one, though it does have a (slightly) longer wheelbase.
  3. Even Ford have had this feature for a while....
  4. Stunning example but at 7K seems very pricey.... Description also says bi-xenon lights but doesn't look like it?
  5. Personally I wouldn't be very happy with that service - that's very poor and I'd be tempted to complain to be honest
  6. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/news/official-clarkson-hammond-may-amazon/ Good or bad? I think Amazon are going to be getting a lot more subscribers either way, but I think overall the fact that we will now have one extra motoring show to choose from is a good thing.
  7. My extended warranty with Warranty Wise covered it, so the Lexus official one should definitely cover it as well, otherwise you should complain. Sat nav is not interior trim, that is a ridiculous suggestion. Agreed that's a completely absurd suggestion. How is a sat nav interior trim?
  8. Philip is right they never used to cover electrical infotainment systems under extended warranty but I think they have changed it now as above
  9. Sarosh, don't forget to add your dealer review to the clubs survey http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/review-lexus-dealer/
  10. Great news! Pleased you got it sorted in the end! :)
  11. I believe Osram do a cool blue 5000k xenon bulb which is what Mercedes fit where as the Lexus philips ones are about 4300 or 4500k I think....
  12. Why would anyone want to scam a dealer out of a headrest? Sure you've either got them or not.....
  13. Lexus GB don't like it when dealers upset customers though so you never know...
  14. Apologies, just misread that! Still not great though, it's a basic part of the car, and then to ask you to fork out £560 for one after just buying the car....
  15. IMO for a Lexus dealer to supply an 'approved used' Lexus with a front head rest missing is just plain wrong, although of course I suppose it would have to mention prior to buying. I would be kicking up a major fuss with customer relations over this though!
  16. Congratulations on the purchase, appears to be almost identical to mine other than carpet colour!
  17. I've seen 42mpg out of my IS250 auto a couple of times on motorway runs. Factor in petrol being considerably cheaper than diesel and it makes the IS220d seem less relevant?
  18. Get finance from elsewhere and then buy the car? Although from a person who buys every car outright - id say - if you need finance, its definitely not in budget (when talking cars of course) The car industry would collapse if no one used finance. According to this article, last year over 75% of new cars were purchased on finance: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-30706580 You're lucky if you can, but very few people have £20k - £50k or whatever it may be sat in their bank just to drop on a car, but many can comfortably afford the monthly payments.
  19. I think people will be buying focusing on MPG rather than the tax from 2017 on. I can't see everyone rushing out to buy an electric vehicle and if all cars are in the same boat I can't see it will affect sales all that much.
  20. I have a feeling a lot of cars are going to be priced at £39,995.... :P
