    @Jon_BJon I’m going, but not on the Saturday for the 1st time this year. Been every year since 2004 with a group of mates. Usually do Thursday to Saturday but this year didn’t work out for the Saturday unfortunately. Weather is looking great which is a result as last 2 years were not that good. Enjoy the day👍🏻 @Big Rat Paul I’m sure you will have a great day. Brilliant event with great access to the cars - cross between a hill climb with pretty much every form of motor sport & a motor show. There is a lot to see & it’s a big place, but if it works out give me a shout 👍🏻

    If they don’t always change the plugs do they still take them out to check? I had my 60k service on the ISF at about 12k - if they didn’t change them I still paid the full price for the service!!

    @Big Rat Great stuff Paul👍🏻 As Paul said a brilliant system - I seem to drive everywhere locally now with the window down just to listen to it - fantastic sound!! Also well worth the trip to Lexus Cheltenham. Only dealership I’ve ever used where I had a cup of coffee in the workshop while watching it being fitted & chatting with Paul the tech who was fitting it. The Dealer Principle Tim & Alex the Service Manager were all there when Paul fired the car up for the first time to enjoy the sound - they are all a great bunch of people.

    Exactly - looked particularly good from the back as well. A nice alternative to the MX5 & got a lot of interest at Goodwood apparently. As I said can’t help thinking they missed a trick from a sales perspective - especially as the uk likes convertible’s so much.

    They produced an open topped prototype which I saw at Goodwood in a metallic white & it really was a great looking car - shame they decided not to produce it as I think they missed a trick with that.

    @Big RatPaul nice write up. Have never had the pleasure of driving one, but really liked it when I sat in one at Goodwood. Nice alternative to the MX5 if your not after open top driving.

    The LFA was produced using the tech from the disbanded F1 team factory if I remember correctly.

    Might be worth making sure the welds are ok at the same time as they are known to fail occasionally losing the odd tip. When I originally bought my ISF you could only buy the whole fake tip assembly at £400 a corner - was one of the advantages of the H&S exhaust system for me.

    It did make an amazing noise & you could easily hear it from the Lexus hospitality balcony👍🏻 While I was looking at the car in the F1 paddock I noticed the mechanics were wearing a really smart F sport navy polo shirt with stitched logos etc so I asked if they were available to buy. The German mechanic then introduced me to the Swis lady owner who found me one - result👍🏻

    Have to say I feel exactly the same. Its bad enough having your pride & joy taken in the first place. Wouldn’t want the added issues of having a car on record as being stolen from a resale & devaluation perspective. Still if you do want it recovered it’s certainly good value in comparison with the usual alternatives. A friend suggested something potentially even cheaper if you happen to have an old iPhone. Buy a pay as u go SIM card & use find the iPhone App - just need to hide it under a seat & conceal the power supply.

    They r so S*+% that they loose 2 cylinders before they even leave the factory!! 😉😁 Might have to swap the Ghlibli for a Gran Turismo - very nice 👍🏻 Love the Maserati nteriors - they do feel very special to be in (while they are not at the garage being repairedt that is!!). Mate has a Quuattropotre GTS which is a beautiful car, with the carbon trim etc - currently with Maserati trying to sort a problem 🙄

    AMG C63S coupe - having driven a saloon version at MB world two weeks ago I was frankly a bit taken aback by just how good it was!! I’d only driven the more powerful CLS before that but the C was just better full stop. Very impressive.

    Nice looking spare wheel👍🏻 Thanks for trying re the spare wheel and looks like an interesting place to visit. Mo is clearly a very understanding lady. I can just imagine the look on my wife’s face if I told her I was going to a Lexus dealer on our holiday 😉😆
