  1. Correct, sorry if not clear. Yes, fogs are manual but if they are on and the main lights come on or go off - they follow. So, as happend to me in thick fog, the ambient light was bright enough to turn all lights off even though they were needed.
  2. Just be aware that when using "automatic" lights the fog lights are controlled too. In some situations they can go off when you actually need them. I would have thought fog lights should overide this auto feature.
  3. Same here. Over a year of battling this problem together with local dealer and I'm so dissapointed in Lexus leaving dealer to sort problem. Now they both refuse to acknowledge this is a problem and say its normal but suggested I log whats happening while driving. Im made to feel this is my issue that im too sensitive to temperature. "Can you use a separate temp gauge to actual prove that the temp is dropping off after time as we have not heard of this issue. If the customer needs the car can he photo the settings and then the temp gauge to show us it is dropping below what is set. It might vary by 1=2 deg either way but that's about it. Yesterday indication was 28 C after 3 hr drive (82F in old money) this is normal!? Dealer has changed all temp sensors and ECU. I think problem began after software update about Feb 2015.
  4. It's probably something to do with the definition of Quick and Short on planet Lexus but 34 mins is not quicker than 24mins on planet earth (M5 to be precise). See pic Quick - 9.8 miles, 34 mins Eco, 9.4 miles, 33 mins Short, 9.4 miles, 24 mins
  5. Important safety note - do not use the auto function when you need fog lights - the feature will turn off the fog lights too when it reaches its lower limit. Driving west along the M6 it got foggy (<100m) so I slowed down & turned on the fog lights but crucially when the sensor detected an increase in light levels, even though the fog had not lifted, it turned the all lights off. I reported this to Lexus but they failed to reply for 6 weeks so I chased but have not responded to what is a safety issue. Shame about the incident and that Lexus customer service is so poor in their follow up, I think they are embarrassed that this happens, that it's not properly described in the handbook which reads "When the light switch is in AUTO the headlights and all lights turn off automatically if the powerswitch is turned to ACCESSORY mode or turned off" and by not responding & not admitting this is a fault it will go away and no one will get hurt as a result. Be warned and be safe.
  6. I've encountered numerous Petrol stations that are showing as a POI but are no longer selling fuel, just cars, or are an established shop or some houses. When I look at old google maps and street view they are not there 5 years ago so really cannot trust this feature, where do Lexus get this data from, the doomsday book? I accept things change but 5 years out of date? I can live with the icon showing Shell when its BP but as I'm not in a deLorean I will need to buy fuel at some stage. Anyone got any tips on time travel or how to get this corrected
