  1. Hi Andy, Sorry out of interest how much did you pay for the roll bars? There is loads of American sites that ship to the UK but they are listed as IS300, as far as I know the chassis are exactly the same, all that was different was the engine (3L) and some cosmetics?? Cheers Adam
  2. Ahhh I am itching to get them now!! I'll post back with results at some point. I know what you mean about the back end it does still look a bit raised for my liking, trouble is the car only had new shock last year. I'll try the Anti roll bars and go from there :) Cheers Adam
  3. Cheers Andy, I was hoping you might pop up as I'd seen a post before about you having them. I've already upgraded to eibach springs which are much better! I will give TDI a call and see what you can do, Funny enough I was looking at wheel spacers as well, sounds like I am copying you!!! How much of a differents did you notice after the new bars?
  4. Thanks Janey some great info, I phoned Fensport and they confirmed they are discontinued, they were not even sure anyone does them anymore so looks like I'll be asking someone for some second hand ones :(. Cheers
  5. Hi All, Sorry if something has already been posted but I'm after an Eibach anti roll bar kit or something similar. Does anyone know where I can get them? Also if anyone's used them, any feedback would be grateful, Thanks in advance
  6. You'll have to keeps us posted if you find the problem, I'm going to try disc skimming next to see if that stops the judder. I went up to WIM couple months ago, nice guys. One thing though Tony doesn't work there, he works from home they told me but having said that the guys know there stuff. You can buy the settings off them for £15. I'd say the car felt a it more planted after having it done.
  7. Did you find the problem Steve?
  8. No Doubt she'll pass Mike! Mines got its MOT in 3 weeks............ Lexus said they don't recommend the tyres that are on my car ''Not the right tread Patten'', iv never heard that before!
  9. So interesting this topic......I gave mine to lexus who said they think it's tyres, they said there's nothing wrong with the car and the best they've seen :-). It's funny as I changed my wheels and tyres from front to back as I had a wobble "noise" but no wobble and now the backs are on the front the wheel wobbles but now have no noise, maybe lexus are right!!?? very strange. I did suspect a hub before they had it!
  10. How did you get on Chris?
  11. Chris We must have the same car! You commented on my old post about strange noises that you had as well and now iv got the same problem you mention above! took the car to WIM the other week to have the alignment done, also asked them to check the other problems (wobble when braking and that sort of wheel wobble noise/bearing, they didn't know what was causing any of the noises but said it could possibly be Hubs, maybe something to change in the new year! cars only done 42K and WIM said the underneath looks really good for its age. im determined to find this noise and stop the wobble even if it means getting ripped off by Lexus!
  12. Thanks guys, I have heard that the rear back plate can rub, can't see anything when I had the wheels off but I may just bend it away more. Iv not changed the back discs or pads only the fronts so far. It's funny as all noises seem to get a little better when the car is warm. Toyota had the car a week ago for a cam belt change and they believe the other noise is the early signs of a wheel bearing!
  13. Thanks scudney I did have the rear wheels off Saturday and all seemed fine, will check again! Cheers
  14. Hi Steve did you get this sorted? Sounds exactly the same as my IS200!! Thanks Adam
  15. Hi all, Please forgive me if I'm in the wrong place! Iv just recently joined the forum after buying my first IS200, must say I love it but I have 2 noises that are driving me mad as I'm not sure what they are! The cars a 2005 IS200 SE done 40k with 1 owner and had an MOT 2 months ago just before I purchased it and passed. FSH with lexus. The first noise is a metal on metal noise which I think is from the front, I have changed the disks, pads, and the calipers are all working well. Any ideas what this could be? What drives me mad more is a sort of wob wob wob wob noise (lol) from what seems the front, tracking seems fine as no uneven wear, no wheel wobble at all, any ideas on what this one could be? I can only hear them both a low speeds (sub 30) but that could just to due to engine noise at higher speed. Any help would be fantastic. Thank you Adam
