  1. Hi, Thanks for your input, its reassuring to hear yours is probably the water pump - and not the HG! As KC14 says, look forward to hearing how you get on.
  2. Thanks for all your replies. I read about the HG issues on pre-2009 models, and thought it was resolved with the 2011 update. No other blown HG indications are present, such as overheating, mayonaise around oil cap and no oil in coolant - so not so sure its that. I'll check up that warranty goodwill thing though!

    Hello

Cheers for the advise Colin. Got a coolant leak now, so looks like I'll be giving that independant a couple of jobs!
  4. Hi all, I've noticed I have a coolant leak, as you may see by the spraying in the pics below, also the coolant in the reservoir is sitting just below the low level. Any ideas/advise regarding the location of said leak would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

    Hello

Hi everyone, New club member and new is200d owner. Was looking at the ct200h, then out of the blue decided to go for the is200d. Decided diesel was a safer bet, so I hope I've made the right decision! Its a 2011 with 108,000 miles and lexus fsh, so have a bit of time/miles before next service and checking out whats on offer. So far got quoted £245 for front brake pads, £241 for intermediate service, and £445 for a full one. All at Lexus Edgware Rd, does the above sound reasonable?
