  1. I found a thread on the clyblexus site..US, and there was much chat about sensor etc and need to refit otherwise lots of check hybrid etc warmings. sounds like may need recoding I surmise.. I plan to look at NP but also other AGM batteries. thanks
  2. Thanks George....I have spotted a compatible for around 100. but unsure when Nan Pan I'm replacing is 300..hmm. the difference? need to check out in detail unless you have expereience here?
  3. My 2007 LS 600H (starting battery) also seems to drain especially if sat for a day or to and of course with the cold weather..It is National Panasonic so I presume original. but on web have found appropriate battery replacement for £100 approx whereas a new Nan Pan is about £300 plus. any view or experience?
  4. Yes I would recommend . i now have a LS600H RSR My first LS 600 i bought almost on a whim for £650 from .afriend who'd driven round Europe on a 7 day older boy trip..I loved it . it was an N regi put some miles on here then she failed MOT on suspension and saw id be best to sell I was so taken I now own a 2007 LS600H long wheelbase with RSR of course. Staggeringly comfy and even non car people talk about it wafting.Amazing vehicle and the Germans must now see their scorn when Lexus launched was misguided. Youll get bigger miles froma dielsel Merc etc but you wont getb the interior feeling... I bought at 75, partial history but spoke with dealer separately and could see it had been treated well..Service people if approached will go through a plate histyory if thye have . the carrot is you will bring to them . which i did when i bought. Now done 99,000 ands its still so fab..except my role has changed so bigger miles less likley so may be tempted to sell . but its . sheer joy to get into . and my older son will weep if i sell her..the rarity helps strengthen residuals too .
  5. Yes I will probably buy with crossed fingers and test LS do lull you versus other cars Thanks will post when and if do a deal Really appreciate Will explore air and steering and engines ..
  6. Yes I understand completely..my budget is about 15-20 so way above what i paid for my 400. But other cars very long and wanted and needed newer I am unaware of any issues with 460 and 600H ..should i be looking further on forum Malcolm?
  7. Mister orange and Malcolm, many thanks. Its much appreciated. I want to have a lexus the question is which one and these have helped me a lot Will stay in post loop thanks again
  8. i AM MOVING TOWARDS A THE 600h but looked on your suggestion and assume this is what i need> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LS400-UCF20-UPPER-SUSPENSION-WISHBONE-ARM-left-or-right-side-/300553511490?hash=item45fa62a242:g:a1YAAOSw3YNXbP0K
  9. Thanks Malc..hmm I agree my Mk3 is great and your suggestion sensible. Re 600H i did not see that as troublesome..assuming similar quality etc and a nicer newer car for me and family. I thought 600H were solid..
  10. Thank you both very much. A call to Lexus dealer last week revealed that Lexus as of now is reviewing (not revoking) LS warranty but I was told that 2007 is too old...by dealer I have an LS 400 as you know, 190,00 miles yesterday but she failed MOT. two issues.Tyre was one easy but upper suspension ball joint. I looked on eBay and think i can find. But had planned to sell her and assumed that she would clear MOT. She has rust etc but overall in great fettle. i have done work on leather and so all in all fantastic...well you know this. I have put nearly 20,00 miles in last two years on M5/M4/M42. AND i also drove another car too. 600h is in part because I will be doing many more work miles and want lower mileage vehicle with huge comfort and can afford to spend more..value is great in any event. I have land rovers so ideally would keep 400 as well but full barn! and my spouse is less keen on more cars
  11. I am looking to buy a 2007 600h. 2008 models i could get warranty from lexus but not if older. Also lexus have withdrawn warranty on LS and are revoking at this..hmm I cannot find a car at right price and condition Does anyone know how can get warranty of any kind to support this purchase?
