  1. So, non of the catastrophic items mention above.Laughable but a good result. You or some one has to get low and dirty to diagnose. There is no other way
  2. You said you assume it's the bushes, and on that assumption you are prepared to buy parts? Have you examined the car, it could be something as simple as a missing exhaust bracket/hanger. You will not find out unless you get low and dirty.
  3. There is no such Police Force called Yorkshire Police.I would not touch it with a barge pole, while it may have been looked after service wise, it will have been "driven as if stolen" by coppers who would have had have no regard for the car. The interior will have been butchered to accommodate all the comms equipment and the carpets and upholstery will have been covered, and smell of Maccy dee's
  4. You can get proximity keys/locks for your house.
  5. Halfords, 5 litres, dilutable, and it smells fruity, get a right waft through the car when you clean the windows.
  6. Excellent just posted it on another forum:lol:
  7. *****, I've been reading the manuals, what an information overload:lol: This is a bit of a stab in the dark, but, do you have the "park assist sensors" turned on using the satellite switch, I'm wondering if that made a difference to what is shown on the screen. It's too cold to leave my log fire and find out, hahaha.
  8. Just had a look at my IS250. When looking at the screen there are two buttons on the touchscreen, one in each bottom corner, these allow me to toggle the yellow, green and red lines on or off, or different combinations. I would imaging you have tried this if its a similar set-up on your screen?
  9. Is this the procedure you tried? 1) Make sure headlights are fully off 2) Turn on the engine 3) Press & Hold the INFO button on the NAV unit 4) Switch the parking lights on & off 3 times 5) Release the INFO button and you should be in the diagnostics menu Once you are in there, there is the section that lets you adjust and calibrate the camera
  10. This may be better, you may be able to find the original part number for the update http://www.lexus-mapupdates.eu/Shop/Index
  11. Does it tell you on this site? Possibly not, think it's USA only. http://www.lexusnavigation.com/faq/
  12. I have changed quite a few alternators, not on a Lexus though, and I would not expect to do so just yet:lol: The only issue I have found with changing alternators is the degree of access. It's only nuts bolts and belts with an electrical connection, but getting to some alternators and their fastenings is sometimes a pig.
  13. Thanks, do you have a link for the video? My apologies, trying to do several jobs at once and making a c**k of each one.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LGB6ZEjGm7Q
  14. Sounds like alternator trouble as John says, the reading should be well over 14 volts with the engine at 2000 rpm. View this video on how to test the alternator, you will need a multimeter. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LGB6ZEjGm7Q
  15. You cannot diagnose this sort of issue on a forum, wheel bearing, top strut mount! Really were just naming car parts, drop link, tie for end, drive shaft, bush. It doesn't work like that. If enough car parts are named someone will be right I suppose. You or someone needs to get intimate with the car, get dirty.
  16. Have you had a look under the car/wheel arches to see if its anything obvious?
  17. Team effort I believe. I recall the AC flap info because Johnatg posted it on a recent thread days before I was going to change mine, good job he did otherwise I may have broken the mechanism.
  18. I like it, except for the whale tail, :o lot of respect for the work thats gone into it.
