My is200 had 128,000 on when I sold it in 20190 ,it was an 02 plate which had 8000 on when I bought it , apart from servicing n tyres nothing at all went wrong in 120000 miles,it drove like new when I sold it ! i also have a Toyota hi ace van which I've owned for 10 years that's got 260,000 on it now and still going strong,it's a Y plate and goes through MOTs with minimal bits ,I had to get a new number plate and bulb to get it through the last one !

Where exactly is this valve located? I've now got a similar problem with mine,.best described as hiccuping between 2 and 3000rpm Everything else is clean and well serviced so turbo could be worth a look at?

It happens on mine,normally every time someone adjusts one of the seats ,it disturbs the wiring,normally goes off again if I move the seat back to its normal position

I would think t could be an injector problem,i have the same problem with mine

Has anyone managed to change main fuse on 220d? Its the white/grey box in the underbonnet fuse box? I cant seem to work out how to change it.itts the alternator main fuse that's gone

Theres deffo no special tool needed,its just a very arkward job to do ,i did mine on my driveway laid on my back which makes it even harder. I wouldnt recommend anyone try it unless theyre a very confident DIY mechanic as its very easy to break the housing

I changed mine myself,a tricky job to do as it's easy to break the screw/filter housing but any mechanic should be able to do it.

I use a full can of bg244 to a full tank of fuel once every 5000 miles and I also use arch oil 6200 every fill up,5mls to 50litres of fuel. Mine is an 07 plate and runs well,I've had one issue with a leaky injector but apart from that it idles and runs fine

I wouldnt have thought the car would start from cold if the glowers are all dead.Normally the glowplug light on dashboard would stay on,or flash with faulty glow plugs when trying to start

Hi,have you got the service book with the car? It tells you the servicing schedule in the book if you have it. I would have a full service done if you are unsure of what the car has had.

I change my oil every 5k or so and at same time i clean EGR and air filter and the air filter is always a bit clogged up with dust n debris,the EGR has a light dusting over it normally.

Have you got the VCI mini cable and software? you could force a regen with that??

You could be getting diesel in your engine oil/sump ??
