  1. Oil control valve and filter. Code P1349. Happy days. Thanks again
  2. Thanks for the reply :D I was really hoping to get an educated guess from someone as I have a complete car to swap bits from. I will try to borrow a code reader. Thanks again :D
  3. Bought a 2001 Lexus IS200 manual 5 weeks ago, when I took it for a test drive the fuel warning light came on then the EML came on and the traction light started flashing. Got it back to the showroom and it was idling at about 2000 revs. A framed it home, serviced it, fitted the timing belt kit and swapped all the plugs and coil packs from my original IS200 which is heading for the scrappy. All dashboard lights went off. New car has run perfectly every day for the past month. Yesterday the fuel warning light came on, followed by the EML and the traction light is flashing. It has also been sitting at 2000 revs when idling. Decided to try to drive it 10 miles back home and it ran perfectly. Lights are still on with traction still flashing. Any help would be gratefully received.
  4. I took a 2001 IS200 manual for a test drive 5 weeks ago. The EML came on and the traction light was flashing. I got it back to the showroom and it was sitting at about 2000 revs while idling. I bought it at a good price and A framed it home. I swapped all the plugs and the coil packs over from my old IS200, fitted a new timing belt kit and serviced my new car. All warning lights went out. I have been driving it every day since then with no problems, but yesterday after driving about 15 miles the EML came back on and the traction light is flashing again, it was idling at about 2000 revs. Drove it about 10 miles back home and it ran perfectly. Curiously the petrol warning light came on at about the same time on both occasions very strange coincidence. Any ideas? Thanks
