  1. I have an IS300h and I think it's the hesitation in the car that makes it loses the acceleration against the leaf, to compensate that I have fitted a Tom's LTS throttle controller that will eliminate the issue and get instant throttle reactions. Easy for and very effective too.
  2. I have looked into that approx 6 months in depth, the boxes that wires into the system is a wireless interface and not many people knows how to fit it in uk, in addition the amount of risk that involves as modern vehicles have advanced wirings that links to multiple ecus, it you tap into the wrong wire and it blows something, you are screwed. Lexus will tell you you warranty is voided and go on your bike, I have also asked abroad they mentioned that European and other Lexus vehicles systems or wiring maybe different so there are high risks in doing this. I have also made enquires with Lexus UK. Believe me, I have looked into this in depth but let me know if you have tried and succeed though.
  3. Yes agree, very price you for a rear diffuser
  4. What price region are we talking ft the aim gain?
  5. Hi everyone, fitted my Tom's LTS 2 throttle controller yesterday, it make the car noticibly responsive, it gets rid of the hesitation that automatics have, easy fitment once overridden the Japanese instructions, worth a try;) also I made it into a plug and play so not wiring loom damage for warranty purpose.
  6. RE Reversing camera,

From the little information I have I believe the camera (and possibly an interface module) originated from here http://www.motormax.co.uk/ not sure if the guy that fitted it worked for  them or was  an independent, but he did get in touch with them when he thought he needed new parts..

    All the best

  7. I was fitting a set ofdaytinedrivingnlight on my smart car last year and I don't know if it was me or it was Smart's design, however fitting a piggy back I tripped a fuse. So I just wasn't sure, but in theory you are correct though
  8. I have asked the question in Lexus Bolton and they couldn't really answer my question for certain. I ask why installing a plug and play Tom's throttle controller will invalidate the warranty but installing an non-approved reverse camera that requires hard wiring does not. I did say Tom's is like an official tuning development for Toyota Lexus, which has sent them head scratching. It's a bit controversial
  9. So because they have arranged it and I assume they will have to honour the warranty, am I right?
  10. Good point, maybe I will try and ask Le us and see if they will answer this question
  11. i plan to use a piggy back fuse to install this controller so it's easy to take out when returning to Lexus to carry out works. Would you guys think the battery needs to be disconnect when plug into fuse box? If I disconnected the negative terminal would it cause problems as it reset my smart keys or vehicle settings in general? What's the advice? Thanks in advance
  12. Thanks for that! Would that not void the warranty as this is not genuine approved product? Don't get me wrong it's very unlikely to go wrong but I was thinking more like if anything else went wrong will they say you have interfere with the car using non genuine parts
  13. I was thinking there must be a kit out there near to factory spec ish. I think it's a bit bad that Lexus cannot upgrade as option after the car is built
  14. Hi all, i wonder if I disconnected the car's battery in the IS300h to make electrical installation would it reset anything? I mean would it reset my keyless system or anything bad like that or would it just be the vehicle's clock? Just need to be careful incase I make more of a job, can anyone tell me if they have done it before?
