  1. HI All, A little late since the last post, I have a Rx400h 2008 and about to change the front 2 tyres on mine, the recommendations on this post are excellent thanks. I am looking into one of these 3 tyres, any advice would be great:- Michelin Latitude Tour HP - £140 hankook ventus st rh06 - £115 Kumho Road Venture APT KL51 - under £100. The Michelin Latitude have good reviews, but are quite a bit more expensive, i might pop in to costco and see how much they do 2 for? The reviews on the Hankook and Kumho are also very good. Thanks Ayaz
  2. I will be looking for 2 new front tyres for my rx 400h soon too and I think it has the potenzas on at the mo. I just searched google for best tyre for lexus rx400h and this is one of the review sites I found:- http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyres_For/Lexus/RX400.htm I usually check online and research reviews before going to my local event tyres guys in old trafford Manchester and they usually advise if I am right or not. They are pretty decent guys and they have been right most of the times I've have asked. You could add the word review to the end of the search and get just reviews. My car needs aligning at the moment as it is pulling to the right. I might seek their advise this w/e then research the tyre they recommend. Regards Ayaz
  3. HI All, Lexus Manchester picked up my car yesterday 8:30am, replace Hybrid invertor, cleaned the car (saved me cleaning it this w/e ) topped petrol back up to where it was when they took it and returned it to m by 15:30 in Doncaster. I am very pleased, Car sounds quieter than it did before. They even did a full inspection and gave me list of things that they advise to get done, which was pretty good as all it came back with was front 2 tyres, 4 wheel alignment (which I knew about) and air con recon (although this works fine). Also the main reason i contacted them was for the digital service history, they said if I had a service book they would stamp it, and as I didn't have one they couldn't provide the receipts due to the data protection act. However Ian (the very friendly guy who picked from lexus) who picked and dropped off the car spoke to one of the customer services girls and got her to print me off the the service history done by Lexus Bolton with all the work done ... happy days. However it was only done by Lexus upto 30k and no history after that, I can only think it was done privately after that. I may send the previous owner a letter and ask if she has the service history book. Thanks for all your reply above and Eileen I read your post on you HG problem, I hope you get it sorted, I have to agree this is one of the nicest comfiest cars i have driven. Also, so far Lexus have been pretty good, Ian also explained what my 60k service would include, and by the sounds of it, it is a hefty expensive one. Hence i will definitely be looking for Lexus specialist. Now time to have a look at the tyre section of the forum, then drive back to Manchester in the sun Regards Ayaz
  4. Thanks guys. Dexy if i find anyone i will let you know. Ayaz
  5. Hi I recently bought a Lexus RX400h 2008 model with only 54k. I emailed Lexus Manchester to see if I could get a copy of the digital service history as the book was not stamped. They rang me back super quick, 5 minutes later and told me they had full comprehensive service history and could stamp my book with all work done .. happy days. They then told me my car was recalled for a Hybrid Invertor recall back in 2010. the services guy was very good booked my car in for Thursday next week, they will pick up from my work in Doncaster and drop of later that day. He also said they can give me a courtesy car if I need one, might as well I suppose I can test drive another Lexus. Anybody else have experience with this recall. Anyhow I have one question I have not found the answer on this forum, anyway recommend a good Lexus specialist garage in and around Doncaster. I live here Monday to Friday due to work and in Manchester on the weekends. I have seen recommendations for Steve in Glossop (Charlesworth motors), this will be my backup if I can't find anyone in Doncaster. Note I am not in a hurry as I don't think it is due a service yet. Thanks Ayaz
