  1. Great photography @Rusty Crobar, wheels are working with the car, very difficult with aftermarket wheels, good work . The top photo........was it taken after the ISF cannons blew a hole in the cliff face?
  2. Freaky.......Just had a reply from the ACE CAFE...... Hi Mark, Thank you for your email and for thinking of the Ace. It is a static meet for Lexus cars/owners to park up and enjoy each other’s motors and company! We hope to see you and some of your members. Kind Regards LINDA WILSMORE Tel: ++44 (0)20 8961 1000 Fax: ++44 (0)20 8965 0161 www.ace-cafe-london.com www.acecafeevents.com
  3. I've emailed Ace Cafe to find out more about this event which is next Thursday 23rd March, no response as yet. Is anyone planning to attend? I will try and call them this week to make sure its definitely happening and make sure 'Lexus' aren't just a rock band from the 1980's which would be embarrassing...
  4. Are you sure you want the rubber one @ollie isf??? http://lexusboutique.net/?pid=1571880
  5. Yep I've used Lexus Reading, it's my nearest dealership....
  6. The one you have been sent " " " C1301PJ is for the MKIII is.
  7. I checked and I purchased an oem boot liner in Jan 2016 for my 56' IS250. PZ434C0301PJ. Boot is exactly the same.
  8. http://m.ebay.com/itm/281220013271?_trksid=p2349526.m2548.l4275&_mwBanner=1 Should be the same as the IS250. Part number on the listing is PZ434-C0301-PJ
  9. Hearing all these different experiences is really disappointing....... The engineers seem to be allowed to do whatever the hell they like, including taking customers car for a 'test drive'.
  10. With all my previous cars I have used my trusted independent and will use him for all the consumables but I feel as though the ISF needs a Lexus service stamp, otherwise it will be less desirable when sold.
  11. Very true @Mark G, it's just a business, I'm sure alot of these sales folk and engineers have gone from ford to BMW, Toyota etc, etc. Some brands have married the product and service but it's quite rare. I will be cancelling my 2nd year service plan and will shop around when the next major service is due in Feb 2018.
  12. Never had a good experience with a dealership. Only experienced those at Audi and Lexus however. Over the years I've had a couple of excellent independent mechanics who obviously have a passion for what they do, which installs absolute confidence when handing your keys over. I don't even think about recording the mileage etc. In some cases it seems the average service/maintenance offered doesn't match the excellent Lexus 'product'.
  13. Sounds like night and day to my experiences @Neil E, excellent service and some interest in their cars. 👍 The only pastries I've seen at a Lexus dealership @Rebecca was on the carpets of the courtesy car 😁. Good to hear there are some out there doing it right, probably the majority!
  14. Maybe it's just the dealerships in the South-East which aren't the best?
  15. You'll obviously have to replace it with the pokemon go gear knob, that's £500 off 😁 😁
  16. Lexus Twickenham tried to call me for feedback this week, luckily for them I've been busy....
  17. Reading poor, Twickenham poor-average. Good points made by 🐀 but on stating these things expect to get a funny look rather than 'of course sir.....'.
  18. Good luck with the negotiations Bob, looks like it could be a nice one. The dodgy gear knob is a clear negotiation point 😁 lol.
  19. Is it fair to say that as long as you're choosing a good brand tyre (Michelin, Conti, Good Year, Dunlop etc), the differences, unless driving hard on a track would be negligible?
  20. Michelin seem to be the best listening to feedback on this forum over the past 18 months or so. Continental, Bridgestone probably close 2nd. Underdogs of Vredstein and Hankook seem to be pretty good too.
