  1. Hmmm better practice my emergency stops, will be p****d if one of these woolly wanderers gets wedged in my front grill.
  2. I think it would be sensible to space it out, maybe head off the night before, find a fine establishment on route for some shut eye (and a beer or two 🍻). 💭 Thoughts of the grand slam.... 💭 McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Little Chef! 😁 Oh dear....
  3. Just calculating the route to Inverness.... 8hrs 40mins 😁 lol 😁
  4. I've just stripped the car and started painting it silver......... mirror done........now for the rest of the car! Hopefully I'll finish in time for the road trip @Big Rat @Flytvr
  5. There shouldn't be any reason to unplug a dashcam. I would also be suspicious if this was done. I would like to be more trusting but you hear stories....like those in this thread.
  6. Last service at Lexus Twickenham, I took a photo of the mileage. It had +5 miles on it but the service centre is couple of miles down the road so fair enough. Haven't felt the urge to check the dashcam....yet. Would like to have faith in the Lexus dealers but I've not been impressed by any of them yet.
  7. Been thinking about suggesting this myself. Would be up for this, subject to the exact date of course.
  8. Strange how it's scratched inside as well as on the face. Scratch looks like the thickness of a screwdriver head but it wouldn't hold up in a court of law therefore I retract my previous statement.
  9. Great colour and very rare, would love to see the nebula grey in the flesh.
  10. Good numbers, looking forward to it. Has a time been decided yet? Mark.
  11. Nice one, what is the expected turn out in total?
  12. Just outside but touching distance of West London. Cadoxton Slate Grey
  13. Sounds epic, the ISF, the V8......just needs to be driven. Want to plan a road trip soon, maybe with some fellow F's. Best drive for me so far was when I picked up my car in Shannon, drive to Dublin. Ferry to Holyhead, then back to Buckinghamshire.
  14. Not good media for the RCF, but good news for those thinking of upgrading the ISF in the future https://www.carthrottle.com/post/hilarious-depreciation-makes-this-471bhp-lexus-rc-f-look-like-a-bargain/
  15. Old thread but a few pics. Also this though .... https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.carthrottle.com/post/amp/this-is-the-moment-an-idiotic-lexus-driver-crashed-outside-a-car-meet-crushing-a-man/
  16. Could go either way I think.... Me, myself and I, or a selection of Lexus lovelies.....
  17. I'm sure she would be delighted, I hear they do a wonderful all day breakfast 🍳.... 😁
  18. It's only 30 minutes drive for me so I would be interested to go if a few from LOC were keen. Might just go anyway out of curiosity....
  19. As mine had been in Ireland for 3 years I don't think that they had a record of the recalls, although its always been serviced at Lexus/Toyota in Ireland. They mentioned the airbag was being done when I dropped the car off which surprised me but when I picked it up it wasn't done.
  20. The ace cafe is a pretty well known car/bike/petrolhead venue on the North Circular. Was surprised to see a Lexus designated evening in March. Anyone ever been to this or know about it? I appreciate I might need to explore the other forums on LOC.
  21. The worst was the drive back from the airport, sat in the passenger seat with the Mrs driving back from Gatwick. I was serious considering left foot driving the flight back....😁
  22. 😁 Same here @Big Rat. 7 days in Lanzarote itching to get back in the F, got gout in my right foot at the end of the holiday, couldn't drive for another (5 days) after that, then the F's service and recalls (2 days). Happy to say I'm now back behind the wheel....
  23. Only problem is that it's also depressing when you're not driving it.
  24. Couldn't agree more, I'm often out on appointments during the day and I almost look forward to the short but satisfying journeys in the ISF.
  25. Lol 😁.....I bet he only agreed to come along if dad took him to McDonald's on the way home.
