  1. Thanks guys for responses. Seems its a bit of a lottery and I just have to wait, and wait, and wait...... Can't see it being this side of 2023 now. Still,it's worth the wait. Ian.
  2. I have ordered a new Lexus ES in February 2022. Delivery was initially July, then September, now end of this year. However, looking at the Lexus Link app, I see that my order is still at Order in Progress stage, and has not yet reached Build in Progress stage. I keep in regular contact with Lexus UK customer services who are unable to commit to delivery by year end. They say that there are substantial production delays with the ES and NX models due to ongoing global supply issues. Anyone else in a similar situation? Is this delivery period of ten to twelve months (could be more) the accepted situation now? Ian Moore
  3. I have a Lexus IS250,Advance,Sept. 2012 model, bought new. It has the usual satnav/phone/cd player centre console, all working well. I have a Nokia Lumia 925 windows phone which I have registered, via Bluetooth, as a portable player with the media centre and I have had no problem making phone calls ets through the centre. I have used the cd player with no problem but now I would like to player music (stored on my Nokia phone) through the audio system by Bluetooth. The manual says I should be able to do this. My Nokia phone has the A2DP Bluetooth profile. However, when I go into audio settings ,I cannot select portable player as it is 'greyed out' ,as the top photo shows. The portable player will be my Nokia phone . Also, when I push the AUDIO button on the right hand side of the console, AM/FM/CD are clearly shown and available, whilst the BT/AUX/USB tabs are greyed out so I cannot access the BT tab (which presumably is the tab I need to access). Anyone know what is happening. All help appreciated. Ian Moore
  4. I have a Lexus IS250 ADVANCE,Sept. 2012 model, bought new. It has the usual Lexus satnav/cd/phone system. I have a Nokia 925 windows phone with A2DP Bluetooth profile. I have been using the handsfree phone with no problem. It is registered as a portable appliance via Bluetooth since I got the car and works well. I also use the multi disc CD player and changer frequently as I am a music buff. My son recently transferred lots of my music to my Nokia phone with the intent of playing my music via Bluetooth through the Lexus audio system. However, as my top photo above show, when I go into audio settings, the Select portable player is greyed out (the portable player should be my Nokia phone). Also, when I push the AUDIO button on the right hand side of the screen, AM/FM/CD are clearly visible whilst BT/AUX/USB are also greyed out. I assume I need access to BT to play my music (bottom photo) Anyone know what is going on. All help appreciated. Ian Moore
