What year are they running from and to? Believe they stopped making the RS4 in 2007 or 2008?

Driving this evening, approaching a corner which I didn't have to brake much for and the car suddenly starts bleeping and the seatbelt tenses up. Was like it was preparing for a crash but the road was clear and I had barely touched the brakes. Strange.......

I got 3 years gap insurance when I bought mine anyway.....so might just leave it til a week before that runs out then push it off a cliff if prices keep dropping haha.

Gonna get it sorted next month ready for the service as knocks 15% off it.

How much do you think the interior is worth....if its all intact?

I think the depreciation of the IS-F Is on par with the Jag XFR....can get early models of both for mid teens now whereas the equivalent C63 or M3 is a few grand more. A lot will depend on mileage and service history. A higher mileage E46 M3 can be had for under £10k, so I expect the IS-F will drop to this level at some point before creeping back up as the numbers fall, the lower mileage/full main dealer history M3's are holding low to mid teens so the equivalent IS-F should too. Its a rarer car than the others which is a plus, but also doesn't get the same coverage so goes under the radar for potential C63 and M3 buyers. If you look at models such as the Clio V6, E36 M3 and Impreza P1, they have doubled, even tripled, in price over the past decade. I think cars such as the IS-F, Monaro, RS4 etc will eventually follow suit.

It's at the point you purchase it....so in theory if you get the 2 year warranty right before it's 10th birthday then it will run until the car is just shy of 12 years old.

What products do people use? I'm not that knowledgeable with the whole detailing world.....just pressure wash, shampoo, rinse, then use a detailing spray.

Having a more than normal amount on the market isn't helping things at the moment.

Maybe the earlier, high mileage examples will hit low teens in a few years but I can't see them dropping into single figures. They have always been a rare beast but the exclusivity doesn't seem to be reflected in the falling values. Maybe when the numbers on the road start dropping they will creep up as there are as many now as there was in 2013 when the last new ones were sold. Also, if all the manufacturers are going down the forced induction route, Lexus included with the new LC-F, naturally aspirated V8's will start to creep back up?

I'll give you a shout if I ever decide to sell the IS-F......can have 1st dibs on the plate.

Not sure the wife would buy that haha! She's looking forward to 2 weeks of cocktails by the pool. I can't say I blame her as she found out she was pregnant 2 weeks before our honeymoon in Jamaica, she was eating for 2 whilst I was drinking for 2 😉

I got mine done as soon as I bought it. Full detail and paint correction for £250....got rid of most virtually all the scratches but still have a few paint chips to sort.

Hopefully it stays dry. Up nice and early to give the car wash.

I had Yokohama Advan Sports in my previous car. Rate them a lot higher than the Dunlop Sportmaxx's it came with. Reasonably priced and score highly in the Evo tyre tests etc. Will probably get these or the Goodyear Eagle F1's when the current Bridgestones are shot......Kumho Ecsta la sports are very cheap on Black Circles but not sure how good they are.
