  1. One thing is for sure, RC-F and GS-F prices will fall faster than IS-F prices. I'm not going to persuade you either way. You have to drive all three cars and see what fits. A mate of mine who is thinking of a jump to an RC-F from an IS-F asked me "Is it worth the extra £20k?". Same answer - drive them and see. Good luck whatever you decide. The IS-F is a great car.
  2. Very good point, but that is already not the case - LC-500. But then, that's not an F................Who knows!!
  3. Excluding the daddy (L-FA), which F do you think is most likely to be a classic?
  4. Talking to Ratty the other day about Kitt - his new RC-F. He pretty much confirmed what all RC-F owners know - the RC-F gets lots of attention and comments. If passers by have commented on, or reacted to your car, please share the story here. Here's some of my favs - Whilst waiting at junction, two teenage lads walked by. Lad A said to Lad B - "Oooooo - Lexus.....................................................LOOSER!!!" Whilst driving slowly through town, a young lad said to his dad - "Daddy - that car makes my ears hurt". The dad just smiled Sat in a traffic jam. Couple in the car behind were having an argument. I blipped the throttle. The woman s*** herself, then they both immediately started laughing. Marriage guidance by Lexus Drove past a bus stop (I was in the passenger sear). About 15 school kids queued up, all heads down looking at their phones. All looked up, and syncro swivelled their heads as we went past. Joining the M5, I applied suitable pedal pressure whilst driving down the slip round. I joined in front of a family in a people carrier. Driver kept flashing me. Initially I thought he was angry, but he was actually giving it the thumbs up. I let him pass and then overtook him. He'd wound the window down just to hear a V8 Let's hear you stories - I know @Comedian has some!
  5. I’m of the same opinion, except when it comes to exhausts and F cars. The standard sound on the ISF was lacking and the RCF is even more dull.
  6. Dunno mate. She doesn’t strike me as the sort of girl that needs cooled seats - so may not fit in, and get unjustifiable attacked by another member.
  7. Gosh. Couldn’t agree more. Almost as bad as butch aggressive women.
  8. Cooled seats are only for women going through the change anyway.
  9. I encourage you to do that to any of @Mark G ‘s cars 😳
  10. Rather than blowing all your cash buying an IS-F and fitting 220d seats to it, why don't you keep your 220d(?) and stick an IS-F V8 in it. With all the similarities between the two cars, everyone will think it is an IS-F anyway. You'll probably need to change the speedo however - but maybe that's the same?
  11. From what my mates tell me, you need a nice emergency fund just in case. The running cost of an F is a major reason I’ve gone that route. The thought of sleepless nights, big payouts......doesn’t appeal
  12. I've dealt with 4 dealers - Stoke - 4/10 Bristol 3/10 Swindon 6/10 Cheltenham - (servicing) 10/10 They have been awesome and seem really interested in F cars. I was there just before Xmas, and Alex sat and talked with me for a whole hour. Great people.
  13. sorry about that - my phone was flat and the cigarette lighter things don't work in my 200k Volvo anymore
