  1. My RX450h has started making a similar sound, just the last couple of days. Only noticeable at slow speed, manoeuvring onto the driveway, parking etc.. My initial thoughts are a dry rubber bush or gaiter. I know the Merc I had sometimes suffered from this and it was the sound insulating bushing as the steering column passes through the bulkhead. The car is due a service soon and I'll get the dealer to sort it as it's not that irritating and I'm sure they have come across it many times before and will know exactly what to apply and where.
  2. Interior and tilt sensors are switched off by the button in the OCP
  3. Indeed apart from my RX there was an NX450+ and a Jaguar i-Pace(?) and a brace of Ferrari 😎
  4. Duck terrine and Laurent Perrier cuvee rose followed buy guinea fowl washed down with Gevrey Chambertin Louis Latour 2016. Now enjoying a pisco or two...
  5. We have seen a number of owners come and go over the years. This place is exceptionally high maintenance with pretty unique access considerations. I hope the next owner has more sympathetic aspirations than the recent corporate/chain operator. I think they discovered this place doesn't fit easily in the corporation model... We love this place, the atmosphere and staff are truly wonderful and hope to return for many a year yet.
  6. Our favourite hotel for many years 👍🥳
  7. A rather short sighted view IMHO. You bought a car not an app and the car functions very well regardless of the app. I'm sure they will iron out the bugs eventually
  8. Just input your VIN in the search field to get the correct version of the handbook
  9. Curious ... Were the batteries not replaced under warranty? Your location is showing as Buckinghamshire but you quote the Investigation cost in euros? You also say you are tired of disconnecting the battery, how often do you do this? Each time you park up? Since when did you start disconnecting the battery?
  10. Doesn't the radio need to be replaced as the frequencies are different?
  11. Tracking won't show what's happening on the rear. You need to have a full geometry checked. Also check rear suspension bushes
  12. It's not where one intuitively expects it to be and in all honesty I've only stumbled across it a couple of times! IIRC it's hidden under the source settings menu, perhaps.....
  13. There maybe an ant-glare coating, pretty sure there is a film
  14. As mentioned in the owner's handbook ... ■When reconnecting the 12-volt battery To enable the power back door to operate properly, close the power back door manually.
  15. Not a mark on mine after the fitting. Apart from looking cleaner under the wheel arch I would not have known anything had been done. 👍
  16. Just received notification my local Lexus dealership now has an on-site bodyshop facility. Based on my experience of their sales and service attention to detail, it should be good.. "We understand the importance of attention to detail and quality craftsmanship when it comes to maintaining your Lexus. Trust us to deliver results that exceed your expectations and leave you delighted with your vehicle's refreshed look. Thank you for choosing Lexus Swindon as your trusted automotive partner. We look forward to serving you and helping you rediscover the joy of driving a Lexus that looks as impeccable as it performs." 17. Gas filled shocks also have fluid in them. Shock absorbers have had gas over oil for many, many years now. Shock absorbers are not generally made to be repaired or refurbished.
  18. Pad material deposited on the discs can cause a brake judder. A couple of hard stops from speed can remove this but depending on driving style and where one drives can cause a build up again. When you say 'new front brakes' what exactly did you change? If you replaced the discs you may have introduced some dirt or rust between the disc and hub mounting face. The smallest amount can cause a very bad judder. The mounting faces must be scrupulously clean. I'd recommend getting a good garage to check over the brakes, if it is that bad a quick test drive by the technician will illustrate the problem.
  19. Smart water won't stop the car being stolen but it will help identify the parts after it is broken for spares...
  20. Or possibly an air leak in the intake system?
  21. To some, yes. The inclusion of PPF can increase the costs of any repairs.
