  1. @B1 RMA David agree with you about the wheels the ‘other’ latest style is somewhat bland but would as I’ve commented on before would make a good easy clean winter alternative. Yes stay on the case with the paint damage it’s not easy or exactly cheap to rectify. The dipstick on these engines can give an odd reading from time to time i noticed it on my old isF as well. Big Rat
  2. I see this Unregistered Rcf has popped up today at Lexus Newcastle, interesting to see it doesn’t roll on the latest style of wheel. Big Rat
  3. @Womble72 Paul yes it’s a wonderful colour not that your bias of course......🙂 Ive had a pm saying it went through Lexus Cheltenham a few years ago and yes it was a Doctor up that way who had it, there’s a YouTube vid somewhere. Big Rat
  4. @Ashrez All that sounds great the Toms stuff without question is right up there with the best with a myriad of choices, other markets are so lucky Japan of course the the States as well are all well served. Ive just been looking at stuff on YouTube regarding this and a few things standout . The Toms brake pads for the Gsf . Their body kits as well are popular. . The coil overs in this vid are popular in the states...... The spacer inclusion at say 10mm to give the car stance as well, something the Rcf needs as well. Im still pondering on the bright window trim on mine to change to black it’s available and for Lexus incredibly cheap, you may want to enquire about yours as well if your contemplating the front, just to link it all in. I shall watch with great interest you progress lots of pics as and when please. Big Rat
  5. This is on eBay mixture of pictures would like some more information for my isF register anyone know anything about the car please, does look nice and not particularly silly money. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-ISF-/192686579648 Oh and while we are on the subject of isF’s For sale I called at Autostrada near me for a quick piccy, they have this advertised isF advertised I’ve mentioned before it to is in great condition....... Big Rat
  6. @gdh300 Glyn I always find these business relationships interesting as you never really know what goes on behind the scenes, and obviously for commercial reasons they rarely let on. Lets hope the motorsport continues work precludes me from watching it in volume even when I record great lumps of it ! Yes it’s a nice photo very dramatic Paul
  7. @Ashrez Reza go on spill the beans what MODS do you have in mind, the Gsf community on here are the quietest of all in that respect well except this member off here who’s done some great stuff to his car exhaust - interior- exterior as well as under bonnet. Big Rat
  8. @Defratos Sounds like some real performance mods and having finally witnessed @Peter P18 car I can understand why you’d consider it.......... But never underestimate the powers of a woman 😳 🐀
  9. @Defratos Oh no I guess it’s that other four letter word......... work 😏 🐀
  10. @gdh300 Glyn what do you make of this...... https://lexusenthusiast.com/2018/10/15/lexus-3gt-racing-terminate-imsa-partnership/ Big Rat
  11. @NemesisUK That one is pretty impressive, the demise of retail in this country means that the kind of shops where you could actually examine these things in detail prior to purchase are few and far between unfortunately. Whilst in Australia back in May the Lexus dealer in Perth put me onto a specialist scale model car store in Jondaloop Mall, so whilst Mrs Rat perused for something called ‘ A Handbag’ I know I have no idea either I went to the store and was both amazed and disappointed as the range of stuff and quality was incredible, unfortunately 2 days before some Chinese tourists bought the complete Lexus and Toyota stock........... I sulked for the rest of the day 😟 🐀
  12. @Jon B Jon ah some lovely people about, jealousy I guess simple as that haven’t got the intelligence and or not willing to work for things themselves...... still come the revolution brother...... Big Rat
  13. @Linas.P Yes it’s sold apparently I was informed today did seem like a nice clean car 🐀
  14. @Warrington guy Just made me run to the window to see if she had gone........unfortunately it’s raining so hard here I can’t tell..... enjoy the car meet matey 👍 🐀
  15. @B1 RMA Great collection alas mine consists of one but a special one presented to me by @Rusty Crobar when I bought the RcF......can’t see the connection myself......cough cough Big Rat
  16. @wendle Chris that sounds about par for the course cost wise the finish is pretty impressive, it’s not my strong point but I fully appreciate its money well invested 👍 Big Rat
  17. @wendle Chris just the kind of response that it is music to my ears, would it be possible for you to pm me the original reg number so I can add it to my gallery register ? These responses help me greatly to compile the ‘F’ car register ,Im working on this cars details and history at the moment which I believe came over here to a Lexus dealer the back end of last year as well...... Big Rat
  18. A few years ago wonder who has the car now, not a bad read with some nice pics. https://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/car-care-blog/new-car-protection/lexus-rc-f-born-on-fuji-speedway-protected-at-brands-hatch/ Big Rat
  19. @Ala Larj Alan that’s a fair old jaunt for a service from Hampshire 😂 Im guessing you’ve moved to Lincolnshire my spiritual home, @Comedian Sean off of the ‘F’ knows this dealership...... well Big Rat
  20. @MattmechMatt nice work it looks good gives the front end a far more modern appearance 👍 🐀
  21. @Comedian As I understand it the BIF for company car users is a sliding scale for tax reasons the high the co2 the harder the chancellor hits them, there are those who want these type of vehicles for both business and pleasure, though I accept a GT ‘F’ may not be the first choice. I agree with @Stuno1 the chassis and the power type delivery are there really look forward to the finished article. Big Rat
  22. @Comedian I still feel the co2 is a factor for the UK it doesn’t seem to see quite so in Europe, I know the sales there of ‘F’ cars aren’t huge but they are better on the continent. And all the opposition have much lesser emissions than ours but admittedly no V8 either, be interesting so see the finished item....... 🐀
  23. @Comedian Id go along with the less luxurious aspect if the package was right, but if it’s the same engine in natural aspirated form is it going to be below 225kgm I be surprised if it was.... After all its a Lexus not an Audi..... 🐀
  24. @Comedian A 100kg sounds like no seats other than the drivers..... No spare wheel........ cough cough 🙄 🐀
  25. @Ashrez How wrong I was waffling onto my mate with the van that his will have HUD and mine hasn’t...... that’s the price you pay when you get old and grey...... 🐀
