  1. Hi Mike, Thanks for the response. It has given me a good insight on what it could cost. I was hoping to hard wire it myself (I am a electrician), and was thinking more around £120 to £150 for a camera, so will need to do more research. Cheers, Brian.
  2. Hi, I am contemplating purchasing a dashcam and will want to hardwire this in. Can anyone recommend a camera and has anyone hard wired in 300h SE?? if so how??
  3. Hi Geoff, Yes I had the ignition fully on (not in accessory) and used the USB socket in armrest.
  4. Hi, I own the 300h SE with premium sat nav and love this car. There is no road tax to pay at all. I have just replaced all four 16" tyres for just over £200 for quality Dunlop tyres. I am getting just on 50MPG. I drive mainly around the Lancashire/Merseyside area where the roads are very poor in most cases and find the ride quality very good. I did test drive the sports model before purchasing the SE and found it a very firm and noisy ride, too firm for me picking up every bump in the road. Even the Lexus salesman commented on the difference in ride quality to the SE. Concluding that the 16" wheels do absorb a lot of the bumps and road noise.
  5. Hi bluenose1940, Yes you have the correct files. To enter service mode hold menu button and switch lights on and off three times, this will bring up service screen and select Service info. Now select Program Update. Insert USB stick then follow instructions. Do not touch anything whilst it is updating, only takes a few minutes. Once all done, switch off ignition then switch back on again ..... hey presto all done.
  6. Hi, I too upgraded the firmware to VD12103A for my premium sat nav on IS300h SE. This as resolved a long standing problem and that is the favourites in my telephone address book now stay their, previously I lost them as soon as I turned off ignition which was very annoying.
