Good evening, as a 220d newbie myself also I am looking to get this sorted ASAP...I have 58 plate and the VSC earning came up 4 days after purchase (luckily had warranty from dealer) to which it has apparently had a treatment put through it and cleared the fault. i was looking at DPF removal and bypassing the EGR...after reading this post has this been proven as the best way to accomplish this ? Many thanks

Finally got my intercooler fitted on the wagon...supplied courtesy of altezza scott (many thanks!!), now just tinkering abit then can up the boost and next cones the N-tercooler bar.... ?????

i was there with the car, but didn't really see any1 else though except a guy came spoke to me bout his tezza...we were in the club camping area... any1 get any pictures

no mate i don't...that is a bosch and as supercharged is340 say they can be cheaper else where ? Shop around bud...best bet...?

still at work mate so just looked 1 up....suggest R.R.P on a good battery wit 4 year waranty is about £85

got the same...trust greddy filter which sounds nice and a hks hiper system, took a while to bed in but exhausts sounds alright now, got a bit of noise to it ? sounds good at higher revs...i agree the it don't sound as loud as i hoped, but did improve performance. considering changing the filter for a SUS blitz unit, supplied a couple for customers of mine and they roar...!! :D

check the grounding for the car if you can...chassis earth and battery, if one has a fault could prevent the car from starting...either that or check the starter motor ? ? Bout 3 months back my battery terminal became lose and after accelerating would lose contact. when i went to start again it wouldn't... worth a try maybe ? ?

Good lad...car looks nice mate, take your time with it and it will come along nicely. I'm 23 and from hampshire...i wanted an is200 or altezza since my neighbour bought his is200 in 2000, finally saved up enough and found my altezza earlier in the year and had it imported over from japan. Been playin around with it ever since and by no means finished... When i fitted mine i managed to source some high power L.E.D replacements which work really well as the appear cleal but light brilliant red. will try and find a contact number, either that or ask scot about them he should know more...
